I usually do not leave reviews but due to the terrible experience I had here it is a MUST.
First and foremost, the person could not find my reservation that I had made via email almost two weeks prior and their response was they just forgot to put it down. They did have seating available so we were able to be seated. My party was originally for nine people but that quickly changed when one of my guest (female masculine presenting) was turned away because she had a Nike Tech sweat suit on. So, unfortunately she had to commute back to Brooklyn alone.
To keep the rest short and to the point the brunch is not bottomless, they serve one craft drink of your choice and the waitress said the extra charge for a second one will be $45 but after the first craft drink she will bring a champagne glass which my table never got. The food was not terrible but not one single plate of food was hot, we all got served cold food. The waitress didn't bring any utensils nor napkins but did bring cups for water that were extremely dirty and when we sent it back she brought "cleaner" ones but said sorry "they are all just beat up". Shortly, two people ordered drinks from the bar, one came back completely wrong and the other one never arrived to the table but surely was on the bill. At this point I was completely over it and asked for the bill to leave. The service is terrible, we had to get up from our table three times to get the waitress who was smoking hookah each time we could not find her, which is terrible considering the seating is only for 90 minutes.
After we paid our bill, we witness a total of 5 MEN wearing the exact same type of sweat suit one of my guest were wearing who got turned away. At that point I needed to speak to the manager. She came out to speak with us outside and we gave her a run down of everything we experienced and questioned her as to why were the men allowed to wear sweat pants but my female friend was not, she simply said they are private security, but was confused because they were all sitting separately drinking and smoking hookah on the job? She didn't answer the question but did try her best to understand why we were all frustrated and offered us a round of drinks on her at the bar. We kindly declined because the matter wasn't about money it was about the treatment given to guest, especially when its out first time going. The best part of this place...
Read moreIf I could leave 0 stars I really would. A few friends and I visited this spot for one of our birthday celebration on this past Sunday. Things were going well up until we put in our food orders.
The waitress took our orders at 5:30 served us our drinks at 5:50 and we never got our food until 7:30. Not only did it take an hour and a half to get our food, we had to ask for and wait an additional 15 minutes for utensils.
Here’s the best part.. I ordered the Nutella French toast which comes with eggs and turkey bacon. I did not receive the bacon. I waved my server down, and let her know that I was missing a part of my meal. She let me know that it should be coming out soon… Let’s just say my entire party finished their food and I still didn’t have bacon on my plate. I waved her down again, and told her “I still don’t have any bacon”.. She says “You have to give me one second”. Funny because I gave hours.
Shortly after her manager came over to ask that we not harrass her employees. We let her know that we simply reminded her, not harassed her.
Well, at 8:30 I received my bacon.
This review isn’t about bacon though..
Shortly after another server came over to take payment. Not letting us know that we would be getting kicked out by a lady bouncer 5 minutes later. When we asked why? She said because we cursed at our server. I’m just going to say this we never cursed at her. We simply asked for what we were paying for, we asked for utensils, our food & drinks.. and just good service. We didn’t ask ever 5 minutes we waited half an hour .. hour .. an hour and a half. It was extremely unfair for them to kick us out which I let her know. If there were issues on the back end, that should be communicated where we would make our own decision whether or not we wanted to dine here.
Completely ridiculous to kick us out because you didn’t want to do your job. I rate this place 0/10. Never coming back and would never recommend. Do better.
If you want the standard dining experience do not come here. They care more about bottle service.
Btw, we were also going to order bottles once we ate and they missed out on that! Happy we didn’t spend another...
Read moreFirst off. I don’t understand why they put people to work in the front that have literal anger issues. Not only was i groped and harassed by the lady in the front checking bags but the thing had the nerve to kick me out of the club when I had just entered Just because I didn’t hear her telling me to move into the inside portion of the establishment, the only reason I was even on the phone was to find the people I was with, and I couldn’t hear a single thing in that place (mind you I had booked a section in advance.) The lack of patience and hospitality was just mind-boggling, especially because this is a well-known establishment with people willing to spend REAL MONEY!! Unless the owners decide to contact me and have her issue, me an official apology, I will be pressing charges for the groping ITSELF!! As a local business owner myself, I would never ever allow someone to be treated like that in my place of business and get away with it Because that just sets the tone for the type of service you’re going to get every time you go there. DO BETTER AT HIRING PEOPLE BEFORE YOU CATCH AN...
