This was our first time here as a date night option. We came early around 7pm and there was plenty of seats. The staff and manager were very attentive, friendly, and were very helpful with the menu suggestions. The restaurant has a nice cozy atmosphere. Despite being by the train station, it's quiet enough to have a nice evening on a date. The food came out quickly and was very fresh. The drinks were a good "strength" and tasty. By mid dinner, the restaurant was packed. Come early for dinner is my recommendation. If you're a repeat customer, I've noticed that the manager remembers you, your likes and dislikes, and your usual order. That's amazing and shows that every customer matters. We got good portions for our meal and the prices were reasonable. They also offer delivery if you choose to order in. Also, you can ask them to tweak the spiciness level of your food - mild, medium, Thai hot. I asked for the Thai hot and it was very spicy (which I love) without compromising the taste of the food. I will definitely come back here again and try the rest of the menu!

What kind of a restaurant forgets to remove the shells off the shrimp soup? A restaurant that is spiraling downwards! I could understand if they forgot to remove one or two shells, but they left all the shells on the shrimp. It’s soup! Additionally, the serving size soup was so tiny that it doesn’t qualify as a side dish. Rather the container size is the size of a sauce container and they charged $12.95! What nerve! I contacted the restaurant to send me a replacement but not only did they refuse to do so, they were unwilling to refund me. We are disputing the charge with our credit card company. This is the last time I will ever order from this place. Do yourself favor go elsewhere! Also, The pad Thai was mediocre at best. You can get better pad thai from a food court at the mall. I provided pics with the shells. Couldn’t finish this soup! Shame on them for serving subpar food.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon for thai cuisine. My hostess and waitress was pleasant and courteous in making suggestions. She was very nice and I was happy with her service. She suggests the pad thai noodles with beef, she did say it was regular noodles. But she boasted about how good it was. The plate was less than par, first impressions was a plate of angel hair pasta with sweet ketchup, with overdone beef pieces and what I think was microwaved. I heard the microwave beep, I'm sure of it. What was delicious was the crispy shrimp appetizer and sweet tea. I was not impressed with the hot sauces stationed by the entrance. I was not impressed with all their cleaning supplies lined up outside the bathroom. It's not what I want to see to see as part of the decor. I would not visit again.

I was so uncomfortable with the waitress who turned out to be so rude and aggressive I hope the place will speak with her because I did like my main dish (not so much the appetizer, roti canai). They're also using old menus with a sticker I didn't see that says all the prices for virtually every item were around $2.50 less than what they're charging, and of course I didn't see this sticker and of course the waitress didn't make any note of it, just handing me a ticket that was $9.00 more than I expected, including assessing the tip. For years I've passed this restaurant and wanted to try it, finally I made the time over the weekend. Unexpectedly, there was BLASTING salsa and no customers or employees were in there. Eventually a Latina waitress came out and called me "mi amor" and "sweetheart". I told her the music was so loud I didn't know if I could stay and she turned the music down. Then she went back into the back and started talking SO LOUD with whoever else was back there, and I could barely hear their voices but only hers. Five minutes later I got up to approach the kitchen and ask if she could take my order. When she came out again told her I'd like to eat outside, but I didn't tell her it was because I also didn't want to hear her loud talking. I didn't need anything, but the whole time I ate she never came out to ask me if I did, and I was happy to bring my dishes into the place when I finished. She had turned the music up REALLY loud again and I winced, and she said "sweetheart, you REALLY don't like Spanish music" which I told her was not true at all, I just wasn't expecting disco-level volume at what I thought was a delightful Thai restaurant. Then she gave me the check and I was trying to politely explain that if I'm going to be charged $34 instead of $24 that I was expecting, they should make people aware that the prices are old; she wouldn't let me even make my point and said she didn't need customers' "negativity" and that she would give me a "discount" (which is not what it is). She also said I had "demanded" she turned the music down which was ridiculous. While I was leaving I overheard her in Spanish tell people in the kitchen she was sick of customers who complained. I couldn't believe how...

I am soooo disappointed.... So sad.... it's been a while since I've been back. Used to go religiously with my Fiancee and always recommended this place. No more! They must have replaced the chef and that was a grave mistake. They went from fantastic to generic... I couldn't wait to go later so I ordered delivery. What a nightmare the young lady who answered really didn't want to be bothered when we asked if they still had one our favorite appetizers ( Roti Cani) We asked her inquire with the chef, she was obviously new. She stated she would ask and call us back( I'm still waiting). The food has changed. Massaman curry was watery , ,not as flavorful and arrived looking as if it were curdling, REALLY... let's not forget the Not full rice container. Very skimpy with the rice portion, as if it were an after thought not part of the entree... The noodle salad with chicken was horrible especially since I asked for no veggies and it came full of them, So much onions and cilantro the flavor was lost and made the "ground chicken look suspect". They totally trashed the Mee Grob!!!! So much money and I ended throwing it away. $79.70 was too much to pay for dinner that was inedible and ended up in the trash! The only thing great and still the same was the coconut juice( water) and that's because they get it from Flushing, Queens, not made on sight! I wonder if the lady owner is still there? Doubt It! She was great and took great pride in her business... Never again, now the search is on for a new fave Thai restaurant. Hopefully the next one stays sweet and...

This place is one of my favorite places in the universe. Coming in here is just like coming back home. I've been coming here for several years now and it remains one of the top places I have ever visited in the world. Someone please give this place a Michelin star because the flavor is so unique and tasteful it leaves my taste buds in a frenzy all the time. I would sell my firstborn child for their Pad Key Mao. 🤤🤤

Original below I love coming here. For me, it's a must have, especially if you're visiting the Bronx from elsewhere. It's one of my favorite places to eat. Recently I feel as though they've been down on their luck with finding new employees or something. The food here is amazing, the management is very nice, and the service is usually one of the best I've ever had. It's kind of hard to see this place being closed during hours that it's supposed to be open. I want to give it 5 stars but this one time my friends and I ordered the same thing. The portion we got was tiny compared to one of our other friends who ordered something else. It felt like they had made our meal and split it in half between...
