One of my favorite sushi places for more than one reason. The food tastes great and it is fresh! Hot food is served fresh out of the pan/grill. Service is good. They sit you down quickly and service you readily as well. My criticism on customer service is that sometimes you have to call them to refill your water or for something additional. To have higher quality service they should check in often to see if anything is needed. Another critique I have is for the bubble tea and Thai ice tea . I don't like how it's already pre-made with loads of sugar. They should put the sugar in as per requested. Some people still want to enjoy outside food without compromising their health if they don't have to - ME.
Sushi is nice and soft. The sushi isn't super cold. The rice is luke warm and tender (not soggy or overcooked). It is soft and freshly cooked unlike some sushi spots that have hard cold rice - I don't like that. The meat in the sushi is plenty and very tasty. Great quality sushi 🍣. There are plenty vegan options as well. Steamed veggies, noodle soups, vegan sushi choices etc.
Update: desserts are also very delicious. I had the chocolate mousse cake - it is very soft - has a velvet texture, decadent in flavor - not too sugary, but sweet enough, very creamy and chocolatey. I also had the green tea cheesecake. It has a dense firm texture. The cheesecake taste like green tea, it is a light flavor but sweet to taste, not too overwhelming sweet, just right. It comes top with a green tea flavored syrup that is a neatly swirled on top , makes for a nice decor with a sweet touch. They also have Asian desserts that I did not try yet.
Bathrooms and tables are clean.

Read moreThe service here is horrible. I'm not writing this after one visit. I've been here at least five times hoping each time it got better but no such luck. Some of the wait staff is way too aggressive hovering over your table for no reason, giving check from other tables, serving food to you that other guests order, etc. Then you have those who don't pay you any attention AT ALL and when you call to them not only do they act as if they're doing you a favor but they maintained somewhat of an attitude throughout the process.
The food is not very flavorful and no time that I've been there has my order come out complete. Each time I've had to request whatever items were missing more than twice. At Best of sushi is good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there nor would I necessarily recommend a friend unless it was a quick fairly inexpensive Neil they were looking for.
We ask for lemon slices to add to our water in the waitress actually walk over with one slice of lemon and kindly set it on the table and walked away before we could ask for more. After not being able to get her attention for over 10 minutes I asked the manager for some slices and he gladly gave us more than we could use. He also seemed to notice her lack of attention to us and a few other tables and did his best to make up for it which I...
Read morelive in the area and was really impressed the first time I visited—the customer service was excellent, truly top-notch. Unfortunately, my second experience didn’t live up to that. I placed a takeout order, and the person who took my order, Jin, was extremely rude.
At one point, I noticed a table had a sushi dish that looked great, and I simply asked what it was so I could order the same thing. I didn’t know the name of the item, which is why I asked. Jin responded by saying they were too busy to look at the menu. I understand restaurants can get busy, but telling a customer you’re too busy to help—especially when I’m standing right in front of him trying to place an order—is unacceptable.
What made it worse is that I was with my 10-year-old daughter and spoke to him with complete respect. I don’t know how he’s used to speaking to the women in his life, but that kind of tone and attitude is completely inappropriate. This was extremely disappointing, and I’m saying this in the most respectful way possible because this type of behavior can truly harm an...
