Wow! This place has gone through a looong renovation and it shows! It used to be an old-fashioned, run-of-the-mill kosher butcher shop. Not anymore! Upon entering, one sees to the right a glass case revealing meats that are aging, drying and/or being smoked. On the left, containers of regular take out food, except for the drinks, which include bottles of amazing fruit juices and blends. I recommend the Tropical Mix. Toward the back are steam trays offering a wide selection of foods for dining in (upstairs) or takeout. This is followed by a refrigerated section which holds salads, etc.

Read moreWe tried the new House of Glatt restaurant. We got mixed reviews before we went. It’s new ownership in early 2024.  Theres a user-friendly kiosk ordering system and an inviting upstairs seating area, enhancing the dining experience.
We tried some of the stand-out items like Oklahoma fried onion smash burger, a Korean-style fried chicken sandwich, the loaded Philly cheesesteak and the crispy schnitzel sandwich made Jerusalem Shuk style. Unsure of what to expect, we decided to try it out for our daughter’s birthday celebration. The food was delicious and unique, far from your typical deli or Israeli café.
