Wow! This place has gone through a looong renovation and it shows! It used to be an old-fashioned, run-of-the-mill kosher butcher shop. Not anymore! Upon entering, one sees to the right a glass case revealing meats that are aging, drying and/or being smoked. On the left, containers of regular take out food, except for the drinks, which include bottles of amazing fruit juices and blends. I recommend the Tropical Mix. Toward the back are steam trays offering a wide selection of foods for dining in (upstairs) or takeout. This is followed by a refrigerated section which holds salads, etc.

Took a while to renovate, but it is...

We tried the new House of Glatt restaurant. We got mixed reviews before we went. It’s new ownership in early 2024. Theres a user-friendly kiosk ordering system and an inviting upstairs seating area, enhancing the dining experience.

We tried some of the stand-out items like Oklahoma fried onion smash burger, a Korean-style fried chicken sandwich, the loaded Philly cheesesteak and the crispy schnitzel sandwich made Jerusalem Shuk style. The food was good fast-food. It was comfortable to sit there and I liked that that they brought the food upstairs once it was ready.

All in all, I...

We recently dined at House of Glatt, a new kosher restaurant in Crown Heights located above a butcher shop. Unsure of what to expect, we decided to try it out for our daughter’s birthday celebration. The food was delicious and unique, far from your typical deli or Israeli café. The portions were generous, and everyone left completely satisfied. The manager, Betzalel, went above and beyond to ensure our celebration was perfect. House of Glatt is a hidden gem, and we highly recommend it. We will definitely be returning. Give it a try—you...

Best place to eat in Crown Heights: Clean modern new building. Doesn't smell like most other places here. Easy ordering with a screen, no hassle. Lots of space on the second floor without random people and dibs staring at you as you try to eat in peace. Contrast that to the other places in Crown Heights that also have only a half a table. AMAZING food. Very good pricing. Super fast service. Bochur friendly (ig) Highly highly recommended. I recommend the Bacon Smashburger and the Pulled Brisket Bourbon BBQ Pizza. 10/10

Disappointing experience. I visited on Saturday night, and unfortunately, the food arrived cold and not tasty — really not worth the price. Maybe it was just a busy evening, but I still expected better quality for what they charge. The presentation looked fine, but the taste and temperature were disappointing. Perhaps the experience could be different on another day, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend it until they improve the food quality and value for money.
