Dina is a God sent angel! My baby kept showing signs of oral dysfunction (gassy, leaking milk, slow feedings, mouth bringing, low tongue posture, neck and shoulder tighten, difficulty spoonfeeding...) but THREE highly rated professionals dismissed my concerns and even told me what a pleasure it was to see a baby with no ties. Overall he was happy and growing well so I thought I was being an overly concerned FTM. I kept thinking it was me and tried different lactation consultants until I read up about myofunctional therapy and mouth breathing. After TONZ of research (I really could not afford to throw my money at yet another professional without results) I found Dina. As soon as I called Dina I felt way more at ease. Traveling with a baby through NY's traffic was well worth it! We did a few therapy sessions pre and post the release with Dr Seigel and my son has completely transformed. She was always quick to respond when I messaged her, easygoing and most of all really knowledgeable. If you're hesitant- give it a try. Dina really hears you out and is honest about whether or not she can help you and will gladly refer you elsewhere if she feels it's...
Read moreWhen my twins were a year old, Dina was assigned to work with them three times a week for almost two years. I was a little weary at first, and imagined that as soon as Dina got wind of the twin’s propensity for destruction and chaos, she would walk right out the door. The thought of Dina not only taming the twins , but actually getting them to sit still and work with her, was laughable. However, after the first visit, my babies would wake up every day and ask if Dina was coming. They spent hours by the window waiting for her to show up. Most of their early childhood memories include Dina’s huge smile, and the fun times they spent together. Dina is a miracle worker. Within weeks, we were able to see a huge difference in the babies fine motor skills, speech, vocabulary, muscle tone, and best of all, they learned lovely new habits - like choosing to sit down to play with blocks or read a book, instead of their usual penchant of trying to flush the dog down the toilet or empty bags of flour in my sock drawer. Dina did so much for my children’s health and growth, and my family will forever be grateful. I wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreDina Ezagui is the best and rarest kind of health care professional: compassionate, knowledgeable, committed, passionate, and engaged in expanding the frontiers of learning and knowledge in her field. On top of that, she knows how to connect with children to motivate even the most stubborn and resistant ones to comply with their exercises at home. My son is a mouth-breather and was first suspected of having sleep apnea at age 6 by his pediatrician. We went to see Dr. Barry Raphael for his integrative approach to orthodontics and addressing sleep and breathing issues. This included releasing my son's tongue-tie with Dr. Scott Siegel, and myofunctional therapy to address muscular weakness involving the lips and tongue, to correct a tongue-thrust, and to correct bad swallowing patterns. We chose Dina for my son's myofunctional therapist and couldn't be happier. She more than anyone else has been the key to motivating my son to comply with his program to cure his sleep apnea, which will give him a lifetime of good sleep and good health. Thank you, Dina. I'll be coming to...
