Greetings, fellow foodies!! :)

This was my first time dining at INAKA SUSHI & I enjoyed my experience there.

Firstly, I wanted to mention that the neighborhood the restaurant is in is quite lovely, typical trendy Bay Ridge community. Thankfully, it has a bodega that stays open late for any post-dinner needs.

The food:

Appetizer: 4/5 Crispy Duck salad (with avocado, cucumber, radish (dikon), & lettuce with a slightly sweet sauce).

Main Entrée: 4.5/5 I ordered the Inaka Sushi & Sashimi for 2: It comes with a spicy tuna roll (add cucumber for extra $, so that the roll has texture and balance), 18 pieces of nigiri (salmon, tuna, octopus, mackerel, red snapper, yellow tail, etc), & 2 “Chef’s Choice” rolls: Dragon Roll & Mango Roll.

I also had Thai Iced tea & water to drink. They gave us a complimentary Fried Oreo dessert.

Service: 4.5/5 The server was friendly & attentive. He checked on us frequently throughout the meal time.

Bathroom: 3/5 Typical bathroom, unisex.

Parking: street (luckily parking was only a block away, but be very mindful of street signs & hydrants).

I am a sushi FANATIC, and Inaka was a nice place & I would consider dining there again if I were in that area. I came later on in the evening on a Friday, & I loved the trendy music they played and all of the Asian artwork.

My overall experience was 4.3/5 Enjoy...

Not sure if restaurants are cutting corners within these covid days, although i was hoping to share my last 2 experiences eating at this place. On March 8 2021 i ordered the Ichiban roll and a sashimi platter, and 7 hours later, i had violent abdominal pain. it is nearly 2 weeks later and I'm currently SUFFERING from an unknown parasite for how untreatable it is. I used to eat sushi from here all the time, and am a forgiving person, although it was the incident prior to this one where they "forgot" to return my credit card after a payment, and made me nearly beg for a utensil that night to eat with. They served me poisoned sushi and when i asked for a fork, the attitude was unreal. If you want to catch an unknown parasite, this is the place. This is specifically for the 8318 3rd...

Never order the Thai Green Curry Chicken. I received a thick rue of Coconut milk that wasn't edible. I ordered this meal from countless restaurants in the past and never got this type of order with barely any green curry paste. The host offered to have the same order made again. Why would I want to order this meal again to get the same result? She refused to compensate with another order for the same value. The host remarked "Never order from here again if you dont like the food! I cant believe that I spent $52.00 at Inaka and they refused to make things right. I had bad salmon in the past and decided on a cooked meal. How bad can that be right? Well, it was BAD! Avoid spending your money at Inaka. You have so many other restaurants in Bayridge that with provide a decent meal...

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered two bento boxes. I chose the sushi and sashimi combination. It includes five pieces of sushi. The other bento box was salmon teriyaki and a godzilla special roll. Both boxes were very good and included an eight piece California roll, white rice, edamame and choice of soup or salad. The edamame was different from other bento boxes that usually include tempura or shumai. I also ordered the shumai soup that includes four shumai.

The best sushi restaurant in Brooklyn! If you are looking for fresh sushi and hibachi Japanese food, inaka sushi restaurant is a must visit. Their sushi rolls have a wide variety, especially the special rolls, which are addictive. The restaurant environment is clean and comfortable, perfect for family dinners or friends gatherings. As a sushi lover, I think the price/performance ratio here is excellent, and they often have member discounts, such as free sushi rolls and miso soup. Brooklyn sushi is a must! Highly recommended!
