I know some Yelpers had some negative things to say about the SERVICE. I don't. Everything from the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out was on point. The guys here are CORDIAL. I never felt rushed even though they were down to their last table and I took my time reading the menu.
The SPACE is a bit narrow but so are many other places in the city. This place can seat 16 people with the 4 tables that have 4 seats each. And it can also accommodate 4 other people with their 2 table 2 per seat set up. As I was eating, their Seamless ordering system were frequently yelling out "new Seamless order" that I can hear all the way in the back. What this tells me is that this place is a popular delivery order hotspot.
Always a good sign.
The bathroom is all the way in the back next to the drinks fridge.
As for the FOOD, I felt it was pretty good. I ordered the CHICKEN ADANA Large ($14.00). Portio wise was good with exception to the rice which I felt could have been given more since it was a large platter that came with 2 long chicken skewer without the skewer part. The chicken also had a gamey taste which I wasn't sure if it was intentionally flavored that way or not. It kind of threw me off BUT the chicken was still DELICIOUS and very satisfying. The platter also came with a small basket of fresh bread. Always appreciates and 2 sauce (yogurt & hotsauce) that was for the platter or bread if you get down like that.
As a bonus, you can use your YELP MOBILE APP to check in and get a free dessert. However, you do have to write a review which I do anyway but for those who don't, it is an extra incentive for you to write. The check-in offer is good for ANY of the 4 desserts listed. The guys here will explain it to you either way.
I opted for the RICE PUDDING after asking for one of the guys recommendations. It was a solid choice. Not overly sweet. The rice flavor came through and the pudding melded well with it. It was very refreshing.
If you are in the area this would be a good place to grab a bite. Or if you live around here, they do have lunch specials and their delivery orders are abundant. You are...
Read moreLast month, while patiently waiting at the head of the line to be seated, I noticed that the waiter who happened to be wearing a black shirt and happened to be bald, seated the couple behind me first by waving at them. He had clearly sern that I was at the front of the line and since there were no tables left asked them to be seated first. I was born in Iran and have frequently dined there. My tips are usually generous. This waiter was not a professional at all. He had spoken to me before and said his family was from Iran from the Khorasan province. I would not mind if people behind me are seated first if you simply talk to me. All it takes is a little courtesy. Just be nice to your customer. I left the place after this rude waiter started lying to me saying the couple behind me was there before half an hour earlier. This waiter should not be employed there, he is disrespectful and rude. Is this how you treat a loyal customer? Why would you have a line then? Why would you have a waiter who would show disrespect The owner says that they do not have a male waiter! Of course, this is the establishment I visited! The waiter was bald (no hair) and he said he was Turkish! His mother’s side of the family came from Khorasan. All I was asking for was some respect and courtesy. Apparently, the bald...
Read moreThis Turkish restaurant offers a truly delightful experience, particularly for those who appreciate warm hospitality. The staff's demeanor is consistently exceptional; they are always smiling, supportive, and provide awesome customer service, making every diner feel welcome. This level of attentiveness significantly enhances the dining atmosphere. While the culinary offerings are enjoyable, South Asian palates might find the spice levels to be on the milder side. Nevertheless, the dishes are flavorful and well-prepared, and I personally enjoyed them. A minor point for diners to be aware of is the presence of some hidden charges. It would be advisable to carefully review your order and the bill to avoid any surprises. Additionally, the tables are quite small due to limited space, which can make it challenging to comfortably enjoy multiple dishes simultaneously. Despite these minor considerations, I believe Middle Eastern patrons, in particular, will find this restaurant's authentic flavors and exceptional service highly appealing. Overall, it's a worthwhile visit for a taste of...
