I am changing to 2 stars (original review below) because the manager came by the table as we were paying our bill. He apologized for the bad service and adjusted our bill to remove the drink refills and half of the desserts. He also apologized for his server (who was rude when we expressed our concerns) and the lack of transparency about the pricing and gratuity. The manager, Leo, was really apologetic, very sincere, and sent us away with $100 gift card as an invite to come again to give this place another try. I feel like anytime a manager steps up to address concerns, it's a positive reflection on the business. For that reason, I have changed my reveiw from 1 star to 2 stars for good management and for acting in good faith to make things right. Thank you, Leo! Please beware if you go to this restaurant. Ask questions. There are no prices anywhere. I really feel that this restaurant should put a menu on the table with pricing and what is included/excluded to set proper expectations up front.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'm so sad to say that this place is a giant disappointment and a scam. They do not tell you the prices. They do not tell you what is included in the price. We had reservations at 8pm, but we still had to wait a while to be seated. The live music is lovely. The food is NOT GOOD and so OVERPRICED. Be careful! They nickel and dime you for every little thing!!! They charge you full price for all drink refills. Meat and salad bar cost $80 per person and do not include dessert, which they do not tell you! The meat is dry and not seasoned well. Very bland. The brisket was the only good meat offering and it was tasty and flavorful. The prime, filet, ribeye, and sirloin were so dry and bland. The salad bar is underwhelming. The selections are subpar at best. The worst part of the experience was the service. Our server rarely visited the table, only took drink orders for part of the table (I was at the salad bar and she never circled back) so I wasn't ever able to order my drink. I finally gave up. We also sat after we were done eating for a long while before having to flag someone down to ask for the dessert cart because we had been told it was included initially. The desserts were pretty good but not included in the price. This was THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY! I am in shock that their pricing is not disclosed up front and what is/is not included is also not disclosed. They also automatically add in gratuity but then have a note on the bill stating gratuity is not included and have a place to fill it in. Be careful!! This is so scammy. I'm giving 1 star because the place is pretty and the location is convenient. But save your money... there is WAY better food in this...

As someone who has been to a ton of Brazilian steakhouses, especially back home in Las Vegas, I was extremely unimpressed with the meal here, even at the discounted rate. There is only one Brazilian steakhouse that I've had worse food at, and that's at Pampas at Miracle Mile in Las Vegas.
My husband noted on our Open Table reservation that I have Celiac and need to know what is and isn't gluten free. The hostess who checked us in asked which one needed gluten free. I said it was me and she said, "anything that you see on the salad bar that you'd think has gluten, has gluten. And the parmesan pork and chicken have gluten."
Umm what? "Anything that you think has gluten has gluten?" From my experience, the things you absolutely would never assume have gluten always have it added in for some unexplainable reason.
The fact that this place is located right off of Time Square, so they get a ton of tourists, and they have zero labeling or allergy guide, at $60+ per person is absurd. Other places give me a print out with what is and isn't gluten free, and others have actual labels on the salad bar. Not here, and this is the most expensive of all of them.
The salad bar is always my favorite at these places but this one, not so much. It didn't have a lot of options but it did have sushi rolls (like California rolls) for some reason. What I had off of it wasn't very good so I didn't bother to go back for a second plate.
Meat was meh. I was able to eat 3 of the 5 choices and they were underseasoned. Luckily the chimichurri sauce, which isn't on the salad bar (but pesto is. Ask me how I know) is some of the best chimichurri I've had.
When it came time for dessert, the service was straight up offensive. I asked the waiter which desserts were gluten free and he pointed to a few and snapped, "but those aren't included with Restaurant Week so shrug." He didn't even ask me if I'd like to order one at my own cost or a coffee. Didn't even make an attempt to work around my dietary need. I would have taken a piece of fruit. At comparable priced places with a set menu, I've never experienced staff not even attempting to feign making an effort to accommodate my Celiac disease. My husband ended up getting a pink cheesecake and tiramisu.
Service was spotty as far as water refills, but it may be because it was Super Bowl and people were watching that.
All in all, I felt ripped off after eating here and I would not recommend it, even if I didn't...
Read moreWe were out at Smorgasburg in Brooklyn a group of 15 then decided to go on open table to see who could possibly take us as a last minute booking-this placed took the reservation and we all traveled there from the park (I give this narrative for it gives insight to our casual attire)
We get there and they seemed bothered to have our booking but then I saw others come in after us who were treated attentively
Then we noticed the salad bar was 1/2 empty
There were several people working rather standing around and no one came to take our drink order as the rest of us arrived.
The meats began and they did not flow
Our service was horrible!!!!
No one wanted us there
Our table was filled with stacked dirty dishes
They gave one small fries and mashed potatoes for 15 people we never had a person ask if we needed anything
There were selections we wanted more of but no one ever came to see if we needed anything
I had to notify someone walking by the table about the slow inattentive service
Their response you are here late
I asked for a manager and no one came until I went to go deal with our poor treatment
If you are going to take a large party then we deserve to have the FULL experience we paid FULL price so we deserved full food and a good evening our bill was $1500!!!!!! So how dare you mistreat us
Was it our casual attire or the color of our skin!!!!!!
I’ve been to many many types of these establishments and by far this was the worst one
Furthermore their website said gifts for moms and there were 3 at the table we never got them they were very racist with us
Shame on you for robbing us of our holiday dining experience
It’s hard to get together with life’s hectic schedule and you ruined our evening, cheated us on food, falsely advertised gift cards for gifts
Now let me reveal something sitting with us was a content social Media influencer who does food reviews in fact spent the week going to restaurants to review and post……her posts average 500,000 on all platforms
It’s disgraceful how you treated us not worth the $1500 you judged us and we hope to spread the word on the lack of respect and food
The pic shows the dirty table we were forced to sit with all night
Her content will post and show everyone standing around and the treatment
You knew we were very disappointed and disgusted your management...
