My boyfriend and I explored Brooklyn for the first time and found this dynamite little pizza joint! Joe & Salβs is a humble but stylish pizza spot with amazing charm. The pizza is phenomenal and you can tell they really care about their product. The service was excellent and you can tell they love what they do. So friendly and accommodating! We went a little overboard and tastes several of their slices! The Pesto Pizza was to die for and the Traditional Sicilian was one of my faves! No doubt the Buffalo Chicken and Bruschetta pizza are a must try. One pizza I loved, in particular, had a sesame seed crust β mira que wow! A culinary experiment that went totally RIGHT! Also, the Buffalo Garlic knots are life-changing! What a concept β marrying two delicious foods to create a waist-expanding concoction of deliciousness! You better get these babies! With its eclectic style and family atmosphere, you can totally sense that this it Brooklyn all the way! I was super excited to hear that they are opening a second location near Prospect Park. I will definitely be back! The only recommendation I would make is that they seriously consider opening a third location in Florida! This pizza spot is a must try!! Joe & Salβs...

I have introduced 3 people to this place and they are all hooked so it is a tried, tested, and proven best pizza spot in Crown Heights. My #1 go-to is the La-Burrata pie. Thin crust, fresh burrata cheese, fresh basil, and tomato... it all just melts in your mouth. Next, is the Nonna pizza if you're into Sicilian style. Yum! My tip is to get a full pie instead of slices because A) it will be freshly baked. B) much cheaper that way. Their pasta is also really good. The penne alla pesto and fettuccine alfredo are what I have tried so far. I will update when I try more. This place has history and a reputation as a solid pizza joint. Dave Portnoy, the pizza guru, gave this place an 8.1. But I round that up and give it a solid 9. There's enough seating area and Tiffany lamps for added aesthetics and a vintage feel. They also have a memory wall with pictures and notes of people who have made memories in this place. And of course, the Godfather references and an Al...

I received an automated reply staring my food would arrive by 6:59. At 7:20 I called to find out where my order was. The person answering the phone was challenged by why I was calling, by the name "Steven" and she also told me she didn't know about deliveries. I called back and asked for the manager, and he assured me that the order had just left, "Sorry big guy" he kept repeating. At 7:45 I called again and was told that my order had "just left" and would arrive in "just five minutes.". ( live around the corner, and have a broken leg). And again at 8:00 I called and was told again "it just left." At 8:15 the order arrived. About two hours and fifteen minutes after ordering, on a perfectly clear, autumn night. Really, and you thought you had to go to Cuba to find service like this. Unrepentant liars, incompetent and not at all worth the wait. Why did this place survive the...
