Last night six of my friends and I came to JOE G for the first time. We were attending a concert at Carnegie Hall last night, and this seemed like the perfect location since it’s only a block or two from the theater. I had read some good reviews so I told all my friends this would be the best place to go. We were all extremely happy with our experience at JOE G!

There was a very nice man who greeted us outside, and then our waiter said his name is Uncle Tony. He was fantastic! We all opted for the price fix dinner (only $29.99). It came with your choice of first course... either mussels with marinara sauce (which I got and it was scrumptious and plentiful), or scallops wrapped in prosciutto. Then you choose a main course from salmon picatta (I chose this, and it was amazing! They came with sliced beans and sliced carrots and also artichoke hearts, and the piccata sauce was lemony and buttery and add capers and it was just off the charts delicious, and the salmon was so moist and perfectly cooked it was probably the best salmon I’ve ever had), pork chop stuffed with cheese ( my friends got this and said it was absolutely delicious!), or a chicken dish. Then you get your choice of dessert (cannoli, tiramisu, panna cotta (like a flan), or ice cream. I had the cannoli and it was perfect, and one of my friends said that it was the best tiramisu they’ve ever had !

Everyone loved everything that they got. This is a lot of high quality food for $29.99 and it was all absolutely delicious! I’m Italian so I know good Italian food. By the way, did I mention they give you baskets of warm bread and warm garlic knots with the meal also!

The restaurant is beautiful, the service is warm and fun and unrushed, and the food is absolutely delicious. If you’re going to Carnegie Hall I cannot imagine a better place to have dinner before the show. We will definitely all be coming back here as soon as possible.

Big thank you to everyone at Joe...

Joe G Pizza offers an exceptional dining experience that sets it apart in a competitive market. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by an inviting atmosphere that balances both comfort and sophistication. The interior design effortlessly blends rustic and modern elements, creating an ambiance that is conducive to both casual gatherings and special occasions.

The real star of the show is, of course, the food. Joe G Pizza's menu is a harmonious blend of traditional and innovative culinary offerings. Their pizza crust has the perfect balance of crispiness and chew, providing an excellent foundation for the high-quality toppings. Whether you opt for a classic Margherita or venture into their gourmet options, each pizza is crafted to perfection. Ingredients are evidently fresh and sourced with care, elevating each bite into a flavorful experience.

The service is another area where Joe G Pizza shines. Staff members are well-trained, attentive, and genuinely invested in providing a memorable experience. Wait times for food are minimal, and servers consistently check in to ensure customer satisfaction without being intrusive. They are knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations tailored to individual preferences, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Overall, Joe G Pizza hits all the marks when it comes to quality, atmosphere, and service. It stands as a compelling choice for anyone seeking a top-tier pizza experience, and is a testament to the power of a well-executed vision. Highly...

Food: Veal - 2 thinly sliced pieces of veal topped with prochuitto, then a slice of fried eggplant, topped with tomato sauce and mozz; it was pretty good, though it was on the saltier side (probably from the procuiotto), and the sauce was fairly salty as the main flavor Sea bass - very good - moist, tender, and flaky; it came topped with a light red sauce Salmon pasta - it tasted good, but there were only a few pieces of small salmon cubes in the sauce; I think you'd get more value by ordering an entree with a pasta as your side

Entrees come with a side - choice of roasted potatoes (a few russet? potatoes cut in half, I was told it was good by the person in my group who ordered it), pasta (any kind - I got rigatoni which was cooked just right), mixed veggies, mashed potato

Complimentary bread - slice white baguette, it was slightly toted which was nice; and they bring a large bottle of olive oil and balsamic to the table for you to use immediately

Service: it was a bit mixed - the waiter asked what side, but then was a bit hand wavy about the options (he mention some of them for me, then when the next person order he said some other items also); he was also a bit brusque when asking us to move the bread plate for him; and for one person who was away, he just didn't bother and put the entree in front of the empty seat; the busboy was very good with the water/bread/coffee...

Hard to decide which deserves top billing - the food or the service. After a great day in Central Park we tucked into this incredible spot. Tony met us on the street and instantly was friendly and approachable. Great menu suggestions and impeccable service throughout. Wine recommendation yes. đŸ· Caesar salad on point. Linguine with clams simple and perfect. Great flexibility Tony said yes to every special request tailored dishes “whatever you want we can give you”. Chicken cacciatore tender and flavorful. Fettuccine vodka sauce amazing. It was mid- afternoon and usually dessert not on our list BUT OMG tiramisu and cannoli not to be missed. You will not find cannoli like that anywhere. Put this on your list of must stop places when in NYC.

The waiter at this restaurant, an old chubby man with glasses, was VERY RUDE! He is a RACIST. When we sat down and wanted to connect to WiFi to translate the menu, he said in an impolite tone that we could only connect after placing an order. However, we couldn’t fully understand the Italian on the menu, and he said if you can’t understand it, then don’t come to eat. Later, he took away the menu and said, ‘I know what 99% of Chinese people like to eat. I’ll order the pizza and pasta that 99% of Chinese people like for you.’ I tried to remain friendly, but his attitude made us feel very uncomfortable, his words were filled with offense and stereotypes, he should apologize!

Had a lunch here while staying at a hotel nearby based on the reviews I saw on Google and the reasonable prices on the menu. This was a true find!!! We ordered the Joe G pizza as an appetizer to share and we all were just amazed at how mouth watering good it was. My wife ordered the gnocchi with mushrooms and it was the lightest and fluffiest gnocchi and we’ve ever had- and we’ve had many from real Italian chefs. Even the ceaser salad impressed as simple as that is. Alcohol prices weren’t too bad either. Has a very nice ambiance and location is not far from broadway or Columbus circle.
