Kafe .Brunch Steaks Burgers Taco Bar — Restaurant in New York

The place is tranquil, not crowded and food and drinks delicious. Eventhough there was a slight language barrier the young lady that served good. It appeared she made a mistake on myself and my niece order and I brought it to her attention twice that I didn't receive meat with my order and I was taking my niece meat because she didn't want it on her plate. My food had finished still no meat but we were charged. I explained to young lady a 3rd and 4th time. This is when customer service went sour. The older lady came I explained we didn't get meat as ordered and we ahould have to pay for it. She says to me. If you WANT MEAT OR IF YOU DONT WANT ME ITS THE SAME PRICE. I said I understand that but you DIDNT GIVE ME MEAT I WANTED. SMH. They took off one avocado price in exchange for one serving of meat I said what about other order. The old lady was annoyed because I should be not cheated, or treated unfairly. It's about the audacity that you should believe you are ENTITLED to take my hard earned money.

And when we entered restaurant I asked because it's mother's day do we need restaurant a gentleman at entrance said no and point to empty table. The older lady comes over after we order to say this table was reserved (there was no sign on table to indicate this and we had ordered) then she that's OK we can stay. No others guest came in the time we were there. It wasn't crowded and it was Mother's day.

I don't like cheaters or bullies.

Came in yesterday for sunday brunch w my man and had a great time. We felt like a couple issues warranted a 4 star rating. An order that called for avocado wasn't complete since they were out of avocado also ordered an Irish coffee and mule made with Jameson. Unfortunately Jameson and whipped cream weren't available and so those orders weren't as expected. We went in between 12 and 2 so I forgive them whole heartily (maybe being bias bc I don't drink) for not having jameson at that time of day, I figure they had ran out from the night before and were waiting on the reup. As we were wrapping up our meal the waitress let us know know someone arrived with jameson and she offered to make another mule. That was lovely and very much appreciated! They had sports on when we came in but the tv was shut off like 20 minutes into our visit not a big deal but we personally like sprts and appreciate having the option to tune in. I wanna stress that the SERVICE & FOOD (besides those issues) was an A+. We're gonna return and see you guys again soon. Hopefully I can adjust this rating to 5. Also I didn't see an DJ but the Playlist was 90s r&b (sade, jodeci, boyz2men etc) I could've sat there with my latte for a lot longer. Oh I can't leave wo mentioning the cafesito, it was just like in PR I dunno I just truly felt...

I came here for brunch with some friends and it was super cute. They had a DJ playing music and they have hookah as well which is lit! The drinks were so pretty, refreshing and hit the spot. We had an espresso martini, lychee martini, mojito, and mango margarita.

We tried a few different things to share like the empanadas - were crispy, crunchy and delicious. The picadera which had tostones, salami, cheese chunks, longaniza and fried chicken wings. That's a classic right there and it was really good. The chips and guacamole was delicious, the guacamole was smooth and lemony. The chicken tacos were mad good, juicy and flavorful for sure.

The vibes are vibing and the service is really good too. The decor in here is nice, the lighting and greenery around the space make for cute photo ops.

P.S. I've also been here to party on the weekends and it's great. The DJs are dope and the people really dancing up in there.
