đșđž ENGLISH REVIEW
We visited Lugo Lounge & Restaurant twice during our stay in New York â once for breakfast and once for an early lunch. In fact, this was the final restaurant we dined at before concluding our two-week American adventure â and it left a great impression.
The service was incredibly warm and welcoming, even though the staff spoke very little English. One waitress charmingly put it: âpokito Englishâ â a moment weâll never forget. đ Still, communication was smooth and heartfelt, and the experience felt genuine throughout.
The place is spotless, spacious, and well-designed, clearly doubling as a lounge bar in the evenings â you can sense it from the ambiance and stylish furnishings.
The food was flavorful, the portions large, and most importantly: the value for money was excellent. Whether youâre having their typical Dominican breakfast or dishes like the mushroom chicken (which I tried and totally recommend), everything is cooked with care and served generously.
Itâs easy to access by foot or subway, and parking by car is also possible in the neighborhood â a big plus in NYC.
The only minor note: the music was slightly loud, but not disruptive.
If Iâm ever back in New York, I will definitely look this place up again. A hidden gem with heart. Gracias, Lugo â y pokito English forever!

đđș MAGYAR ĂRTĂKELĂS
A Lugo Lounge & Restaurant vendĂ©glĂĄtĂłhelyet kĂ©tszer is meglĂĄtogattuk New York-i utunk sorĂĄn â egyszer reggelire, egyszer pedig egy korai ebĂ©dre.

Read moreI placed an order earlier today via Uber eats. It was for a whole chicken and a side. The order was accepted and 20 minutes later I received a phone call from a female employee who stated that they no longer had whole chickens as they ran out. She further commented that they only had two pieces of chicken (thighs) left and I had ordered a whole so they didnât even have enough. I asked her to please cancel the order. She said that I had to cancel on my end. We got off the phone and proceeded to cancel on Uber. I was charged as if they delivered the order to me. Customer support was unable to refund me saying that the restaurant is responsible for cancelling the order if they do not have an item and they had not done so. Per Uber it appeared as if the restaurant had completed preparing my meal by the time I cancelled. This was incorrect as I obviously never received anything and my cancellation was upon restaurantâs instructions since they did not have what I ordered. I called back the restaurant to explain what happened. I was told by staff they couldnât help me. I reexplained the situation several times and was eventually told Iâd be called back. I was never called back ! I should not be charged for food that was never prepared or...
Read moreA Home Run of flavor I just devoured at Lugo's Restaurant & Lounge, and I'm still reeling from the culinary hat trick. This dish is the MVP of my food here - succulent shrimp, indulgent lobster, and tender skirt steak join forces to create a flavor trifecta that will leave you screaming 'Triple Crown!'
The shrimp was so juicy, it practically swam onto my fork. The lobster? Butter-tender and begging to be devoured. And don't even get me started on the skirt steak - cooked to perfection and practically singing 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' with every bite.
Lugo's Triple Play is a grand slam of flavors, a culinary World Series champion. If you haven't tried it yet, drop everything and get to Lugo's - your taste buds will thank you. Five stars, ten stars, a million stars - this dish is...
