Katana Sushi — Restaurant in New York

I just found my new go to takeout in brooklyn! This spot had the freshest sushi that travels SO WELL! Takeout sushi can be hit or miss but this one was perfect. My crispy rice was still perfectly crispy, all of the sashimi was still fresh and the rolls stayed perfectly intact. I can’t recommend this spot more! i LOVED the salmon carpaccio. The flavor was unreal. I also loved the samurai bites and the sushi deluxe plate. They gave scallop and ikura which isn’t usually on the sushi plate and it was amazing. The moment I walked-in, I know there is something SPECIAL. Let’s start with Samurai Bites, a combination of favors & textures. CRPISY & SAVORY. Omg! Beef Negimaki is a great starter.

Great addition to the neighborhood, and I really hope they stick around, it’s so nice to have a restaurant in this location (speaking as a previous devotee to Lum Dee).

I ordered pickup and it was wonderful. I ordered Ramen, salad, and the agedashi tofu, and samurai bites. Everything is fresh, delicious, and elevated in terms of the actual dish and presentation (even for takeout). They definitely threw in a couple extras which didn’t go unnoticed… thank you, that was so sweet!

The renovations to the space are really nice so I’ll probably opt to dine in next time. They also have a sushi counter where...
