The owner of this store charged me, then tried to change the price after I mentioned how affordable an item was. You should not change the price of an item after charging someone for it however, I understand mistakes are made. I waited for her to refund me the item, but she did not know how to and she was getting worked up. She grabbed my items back from me and that is when I got upset and left taking my item. She followed me out, yelling at me, saying she was going to call the police. She claimed that she erased the charge but did not. Read moreThis place is absolute gold. The store has a little bit of everything. If you need some groceries but don’t want to walk to a big store, then there is a chance they’ll have something here for you. They have fresh coffee, can get beer, snacks, cleaning supplies etc.
The best part of the store though is the owner. She is incredibly interesting and friendly. She exemplifies what it means to be a New Yorker and makes this city special. She has truly lived a dream.
