As a local realtor of this wonderful community, I can confidently say that Sea & Soil is a gem in our neighborhood. This charming sandwich shop, run by dedicated owners who pour their heart and soul into every dish, offers a dining experience that is truly exceptional. When someone puts such care into their food, you can absolutely taste the difference. Every sandwich on the menu is unique and bursting with an array of flavors. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegan, there's something delightful waiting for you. While the vegan options are impressive, I couldn't resist the house smoked Brisket and the Lulu (check menu). Both were outstanding and left me eager to return for more. Trying their coffee is next on my list, and I can't wait to see how it complements their already impressive offerings. One unique aspect of Sea & Soil is their sliding scale pricing system. Initially, I found it a bit confusing, but once I understood the concept, I realized what a brilliant idea it is. If you have more to give, you can support the shop and your community by paying a bit extra. If you're going through a tough time financially, you can still enjoy fresh, delicious food without breaking the bank. This system reflects the community spirit that makes our area so special. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is one spot you won't...
Read moreMy sister and I were waiting for a friend next to the bakery as they closed. My sister was curious and was looking up the bakery’s menu. One of the really nice staff offered us 2 cookies and a stuffed pretzel bun which happened to be vegan with what I believe red beans on the inside. It must’ve been fate because my sister is a strict vegan and my daughter and I are more flexible.
My sister had the pretzel as is and was really enjoying it and was surprised/intrigued. I wanted to wait until I got home to warm the cookies up because from the smell alone, I could tell it would microwave nicely. After microwaving and trying the cookies, it didn’t disappoint.
The cookies were a good balance of crunchy and gooey. The taste almost reminded me of the shortbread cookies that come in the tin. As in not overly sweet but rich, creamy and not overwhelming. We cannot wait to go back. I’m impressed and the friendliness when we weren’t even customers made the experience...
Read moreSince Sea & Soil opened earlier this year they’ve become my gf and I’s favorite local food spot. I am not exaggerating when I say we eat there at least 3 times a week. The food is delicious and the flavors are creative, unlike anything i’ve seen at other sandwich spots! Their bread is consistently delicious and fresh and their sunday donuts are drool worthy. Another thing we love about this place is that it is sliding scale and worker owned. Gaby and Noah are so kind, they clearly care about every ingredient they use, and i know when i go there that I’m supporting a business that cares not only about their work but the community they serve. Their sliding scale pricing has guaranteed that we can get good food even when I was temporarily unemployed. We brag about this place to everyone that will listen. If you haven’t tried Sea & Soil yet you’re...
