King Wah Fusion — Restaurant in New York

Tried King Wah tonight because I haven’t found a Chinese food place in Astoria that I’m crazy about, but this is it. I ordered sesame chicken combo with beef fried rice and a shrimp roll (no pork) and the beef in garlic sauce combo with pork fried rice and egg roll. Blew my mind. Literally everything is delicious. Veggies are crisp and crunchy, the sauce is perfect, the sesame chicken isn’t overwhelmingly bready, and the rice is so flavorful with onion and bean sprouts. I. can’t praise this place enough. I take my Chinese food seriously lol and have been disappointed in my search for my go to spot in Astoria so many times, but the search is over. Seriously recommend this place. It was my first time and last time eating there! The food trays was super sticky like if they haven't been washed since they were purchased 10 years ago! The window counter was super sticky, like it hasn't been washed since they opened! I ordered beef and broccoli and the meat didn't look like beef! Dirty dirty filthy fast food take-out! Surprisingly, the city 'Inspector' gave them an 'A' rating! The inspector was definitely not doing his job and probably ran down the street handing out "A's" to every restaurant on the block! First time and last time trying King Wah. New to the neighborhood I ordered their General Tso's Chicken for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. After waiting for 30 minutes I called and they said they would be coming shortly. 10 minutes later the delivery guy shows up and states the cost like Lurch from the Adam's family as if he's about to keel over. Now to the worst part, the food. Each chicken bit was mostly breading and whatever meat was inside was terrible, I simply could not eat it. Don't waste your time or money at this Chinese take-out.
