I’ve frequent this Thai restaurant for dinner and I’ve always been impressed with how satisfying and fresh their meals are. I especially was hooked on how saucy and soft their pasta dishes would come out. At times I must admitt I would have to order double meat bc I noticed the portion to the pasta ratio serving was off when compared to my many Thai experiences 30+ yrs, Thai being my favorite amongst any cuisine, I know all too well portion and what's expected at the very least. However, my recent visits for their lunch special left me disappointed. The portion size of protein was way too little for the overwhelming amount of pasta. It felt like the balance was completely off, and as a regular customer, it just didn’t meet my expectations. To add to my dismay, the pasta for the first time was very dry and thick. It also was not cut into desirable size for a pad see eww/drunken noodle dish. When asked to rectify by adding more slices of protein which I said I would pay extra for it was like rocket science for the them and they explained how they couldn't add more bc they would have to cook another dish. There thinly sliced shredded chicken would of been cooked fast !! Wanted to go behind the scenes and fire up my missing protein my self lol! Had to smile and keep my cool and just dealt for my peace. Also the man server didn't even offer water and was not attentive for such a small space. There wasn't any one else dining but my table. I hope they’ll reconsider their portioning because the dinner experience was great for me even tho I would tweak with double meat. Dont mind paying extra if its worth it and fresh. Hopefully you ll take my review with grace after seeing some of your undesireable responses towards customer experiences. Constructive criticism does help a business in many ways. You can have clients with sub par experience reviews return if your approach to a deficit of any kind were handeled productively. You are running a business at the end of the day and need clients to thrive! Thank you for the times I enjoyed your food and your welcome for...

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently ordered at Koo Thai and was blown away by the depth of flavor in their dishes. The standout for me was definitely their Gra Prow with Fried Egg - it was truly exceptional. The stir-fried beef was tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully complemented by the fragrant Thai basil. Topped with a perfectly fried egg, it was an absolute feast for the senses! I've had Gra Prow at numerous places in the city, and I can confidently say Koo Thai's is the best!
To accompany the meal, I ordered the Taro Milk Tea which was equally impressive. It had a rich, creamy texture and the unique, sweet taste of taro was perfectly balanced - not too overpowering but definitely the star of the drink.
Koo Thai has truly mastered the art of Thai cuisine. The food, the ambiance, and the excellent service make it a must-visit in UES of Manhattan. If you're in the city and have a craving for Thai food, Koo Thai should be on top...
Read moreOh, let me tell you about this gem I stumbled upon recently, Koo Thai. It was an evening craving that led me there, am I glad it did! Their menu is something out of a foodie’s dream, but what really stole the show for me was the Soft Shell Crab with Garlic Sauce. You've got to eat it as soon as it's served, or you'll miss out on the magic of its crispiness. The garlic sauce? Just the cherry on top, making every bite memorable. Trust me, it's a dish that you'll want to go back for.
And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I gave their Iced Thai Bubble Milk Tea a shot. A total game-changer! The blend was spot-on, and those bubbles? Fun in every sip, making it the perfect sidekick to the meal.
Seriously, if you're into exploring new food experiences, this place is a must. Do yourself a favor and don't miss out on these...
