La Dulce Bakery — Restaurant in New York

It was a very hot and humid day when I seen their cholados sign. I don't know anything about their bakery department, but don't ever ask for the Cholado. I was looking forward to it since I haven't had one in a while. First the price was $11.50. Next it all mostly one block of ice. They did not crush the ice, they didn't use condensed milk, They didn't even add the main ingredients of banana & strawberry. They used a little shredded coconut, green melon, cantaloupe & green grapes. I don't understand how they just left out the bananas & strawberries. Only reason I didn't throw out was because of the strong humidity this day. I will not be going back...

Always welcoming with a smile, warm and friendly. Six years ago, I used to live in this area, and back then, I fell in love with this down-to-earth restaurant. It's a pity I moved away afterwards. I'm very happy that six years later, they're still here. And the taste is still as delicious as ever. Their buñuelos...

Today is the last day I buy bread here. I found hair inside and did see a roach inside the counter couple of weeks ago. I called them to complain and their answer was "OK Señor". They never apologize or something. It is disgusting 😒. I used to buy breakfast here almost everyday....
