TERRIBLE!! If you are a serious rider, and want your bike performing at it's best, do not bring it here. I had a tune up done here, the next time I rode I had my chain fall off when I switched to a lower gear. Turns out, the gears were all messed up, and something was knocked out of place during the tune-up. Very unsafe!! Then, when I finished my ride, my buddy realized that my tire was rubbing. Apparently a tune up to them is tightening everything without doing a basic inspection before giving it back. I honestly feel my bike was worse off after bringing it here. Also, I brought my wife's bike in there bc the brakes were squeaking (I had purchased it at the shop), and told him I need that fixed, and a new tube. When I picked it up, I asked him about the breaks. He said, "oh, I forgot" He then took out his wrench and tightened the breaks a little bit, and told me it was all good. Needless to say the brakes continue to squeak. I would only use this place if you need an inner tube and have no other option. DO NOT LET THIS GUY GET HIS HANDS ON...
Read moreI came in about a year ago looking for a road bike but I didn't find one that suited me, mark took time to help me look for one online and he ordered it, build it and gave me a lot of advise on it. On top of that he gave me a 2 year warranty in case anything went wrong with it, I only order from him because he is a straight up person and will let you know what will function or what won't, not just anyone that's trying to sell merchandise. I bought my cleats and clips here which he also special orders as well as a Lazer helmet which goes with my bike. I purchased a air horn but it won't fit because the handlebars are too thick so he did a small project and attached a smaller tube which fits perfectly. Go in and take a look, ask for help if you can't find what you're looking for, mark is there to help. Really happy with the services and my bike which still runs like new. Highly recommend...
Read moreHonestly this shop (apparently established since 1939) makes me proud to call Woodside home. I’ve been here a couple times for a tune-up and some parts, and both experiences made me want to continue coming here as long as I’m able. When I first came for the tune-up I had a bunch of questions that the employee (forgot his name) was patient with and just super knowledgeable about and happy to explain, and he didn’t try upselling me. The bike itself was better than new when I picked it up and it was a very affordable price. Next time I went, I bought a U-lock frame mount, and I tried quickly installing it outside the shop on the street but was struggling a bit. Tony saw me from inside the shop and called me in to install it himself in 15secs free of charge despite...
