Welcome to La Flor Pizzeria, located in the vibrant Crown Heights neighborhood, just a stone's throw away from the Brooklyn Botanical Garden which is the inspiration behind the name. This charming pizzeria is a gem in the area, known for its outstanding dough, which is as thin as paper and perfectly delicious. Each bite delivers a delightful crunch, thanks to the use of the freshest ingredients. La Flor Pizzeria offers a range of mouth-watering pizzas, but the true standout is their Hawaiian pizza with jalapenos, pineapples, and bacon. For those who believe pineapple doesn't belong on pizza, one bite of this unique combination will surely change your mind. The blend of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors creates a taste sensation that will leave you craving more. Whether you're a local or just visiting, make sure to stop by La Flor Pizzeria for an unforgettable pizza experience.

WOW, this is a hidden gem of a pizza shop. My husband and I came here on a whim while craving some good NY pizza. This is a top-tier Brooklyn style pizza. We tried multiple slices, but my personal favorites were the classic cheese and the ricotta honey (husband loved the cheese and pepperoni). I didn't have high expectations for the ricotta honey, but I was blown away at how delicious it was. La Flor Pizza does an amazing job at their crust and sauce. The crust is perfectly THIN, crispy, and chewy - all the must haves of a good Brooklyn style pizza.

Binging with babish gave their pepperoni slice a high rating and a peculiar and slight criticism that it’s “almost too much flavor”. After trying this pizza, I would say this is particularly true of the tomato paste — it’s just too thick and sweet. Just a slight imbalance but maybe it was to balance the super salty pepperonis (which I enjoyed). Personally, I would have preferred a brighter, lighter tomato sauce. Solid neighborhood slice, would come back if I’m in Brooklyn but wouldn’t travel all the way from queens again.

Ordered one specialty pie for delivery, specifically the spicy pepperoni ranch and white with honey. Really disappointed with it especially since the reviews were great. The crust is too thick and tough, my jaw was aching just going through one slice. The white pie had ricotta all throughout which made each bite grainy, not a fan. The seasoning was also largely lacking, I had to add salt which is crazy. The honey did not have any synergy with the cheese at all, just a bad combo or proportion of it. The pepperoni was alright but somehow bad. You can’t screw up pepperoni because the meat itself is salty and delicious but somehow it was a big miss. The red sauce wasn’t sweet enough which caused the whole thing to be unbalanced. The ranch didn’t even taste good, in fact I almost didn’t taste it bc it was overpowered by all the other flavors. Added to the fact that this pie was pricey, this left another bad taste...
