If you want an excellent experience of sitting and enjoying your coffee doubled with incredibly kind staff, Villager is the place to go. It’s slow vibe, yet efficient staff make the experience so pleasant. It’s a cute small shop with a bar for about 8 people inside and a few benches. You can order a drink for everyone here. The coffee aficionados will be happy for the pour over or aeropress while the casual latte and go folks still get incredible drinks. They serve specialty drinks as well with their own fun twist.

They are well stocked with pastries, snacks, and bags of coffee to go.

My photos include the aeropress with the “Sey” coffee and a cheddar chive scone (from colson’s bakery I believe?) .

Take the time to stop by if you’re in the neighborhood for an excellently crafted cup of coffee and kind,...

I’ve been a regular at Villager for over three years, and it continues to be the best coffee shop in NYC. The quality of coffee on rotation is consistently excellent—every cup is brewed with care and the depth of flavor is unmatched.

The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about coffee, creating an inviting and welcoming experience every time I visit. Ben’s (cafe owner) curated eye for detail has a stylish, straightforward aesthetic from his handcrafted cups to the visual merchandising. It’s authentic without ever feeling oversold.

Villager strikes the perfect balance between neighborhood charm and elevated experience. It’s more than just a coffee shop—it’s a cornerstone of the community and an example of what hospitality in New York should look like, and keeps me...
