I LOVE Polly’s! I came for the awesome coffee and food (chocolate croissants, cherry oat scones, and pumpkin bread are just a few favorites) and stayed for the food, ambiance, and the PEOPLE. Terrie the owner is one of the warmest and nicest people ever, and every morning I hear people, along with myself, giving life updates to Terrie, who remembers it all and is so supportive and funny. The baristas are awesome and quick to serve and quick to remember you. The backyard is so nice, and there are all sorts of cool events and classes at Polly’s. The drawing class and local vendor/music market come to mind. The lovely thing about Polly’s is that you feel like you’ve walked into a place that has drawn a community of people who know they will have a cozy and bright place to eat, work, and chat, and it feels like the essence of the neighborhood. Polly’s is 10000% the best cafe in the neighborhood and my...
Read moreI absolutely love Polly’s cafe, my favorite hidden gem coffee shop/ cafe in the neighborhood! From the light airy aesthetic inside to the incredible back patio with grass and tons of seating to the front lil patio area, it’s SUCH A VIBE I always feel like a main character here 😂the queer folks who own it and run it (mom and adult child) are super friendly and make me feel super welcomed and a real sense of community belonging. The iced chais and coffees are delicious and their sandwiches are bomb esp the prosciutto burrata one- tip, add pickles onions which have a hint of cardamom it’s soooo good!! They also have music and mixers here and it’s just a great community...
Read moreI wandered into Polly's because I was in the neighborhood and needed some coffee and oh my gosh I was so so delighted! Run by a mother and daughter (mama is giving strong stone butch vibes 😍 daughter is dark academia lovely), this sweet spot is welcoming and charming. The coffee was great, service so sweet, and the back yard was super. It's a small thing, but I always appreciate when a place has hard boiled eggs, because sometimes you're broke and still wanna go to a coffee shop and fill your belly and, to be, hb eggs say "welcome." Came with my 1yr old who was also lovingly welcomed. Not on my usual path, but will be going back! Felt like the queer warm hug I...
