Update: I reached out on their ig and anywhere I could after the lady told my bf that there wasn’t anyone we could talk to because she was in charge as the “manager.” It turns out that the lady gave us false information and she wasn’t the manager. The actual manager reached out thru ig and the assistant manager called me personally to address the issue. Everyone was super nice and professional as they have always been before this event. They offered to pay for my next meal, which was delicious. This place has always served great food with great customer service. I am satisfied with how they handled this situation that’s why I give them a 5 star and updated this post. Again, my only issue was the customer service that I received from that one employee.
Original post, where I gave them 1 star on Dec 15,2021. vvvvvvvv I have ordered from this place for years and it’s great until today whoever is in charge of the phone is so rude. This is the first time in a long time I ordered from them and I get really bad customer service. I ordered online waited an hour for it and had to call. The lady told me the app didn’t notify them that it was delivery so they were just going to send it. 40 mins after, I still haven’t received anything so I called back. The lady tells me that I should wait because I am not the only delivery and there are 7 other deliveries so I should keep waiting with the nastiest attitude as if it was my fault that I had to wait for over an hour and 40 mins for my food that was promoted as “max 45 mins” in the app. So I had to keep waiting for my food because of a mixed up on their end as it clearly states in the confirmation email that I got from that that it was “delivery” with all my information. Read moreSo sad what this place has turned out to be after so many years , their staff is rude , My family has been going to this restaurant driving out an hour out of our way for 2 years because of how much we loved to eat here, My mother always asked for extra sauce which is an extra charge and it was always understandable but for her to drive an hour after years of doing it and being told she can’t buy more then 3 at a time and she should actually go down to the store to buy a bottle since it’s basically the same thing (it’s not) is ridiculous and also why offer an item you’re not being specific about the amount someone can buy at a single time and then when someone wants to buy and is willing to pay for it your staff then to tells them to go buy it at the store when we know it’s made in house after us specifically driving there an hour to get it and spending $70 worth of food and more everytime, it’s seriously so sad to see their business go down like these over horrible staffing literally a year ago i would recommend this place to anybody , now it’s not even a thought to let someone i know come here! Read moreI’m extremely disappointed. This was one of go to restaurants. I made so many purchases here. Lately the service as been extremely bad. Every time I order my drink or food item is not sent. Which I understand it can happen but not back to back in the same month. I paid more for a larger size. I called to informed the employees that the order was incorrect. They told me to call tomorrow to speak with the manager Rosio. I just asked for her name since was very rude and yelling at me. She was frustrated for me calling to make the complain about my order. When I asked for name she disconnected the call. Extremely unprofessional I called back. Someone else answer I stated please don’t hang up. I need a name so I can inform rosio I called today. She said I’m not wasting my time with you. Call back tomorrow and disconnected the call. Unbelievable! Extremely rude and unprofessional. It’s unfortunate I won’t be going back to Chalos.
