Pathetic scammy restaurant. We saw their $10 Aperol Spritz Happy Hour promo on a Sunday and decided to try it. The blonde hostess sat us down immediately without saying a single word about restrictions. The waiter came, we asked for regular still tap water – apparently too honest for them, because they charged us for bottled water anyway. When the bill came out, it showed $20 per Aperol Spritz instead of $10. We asked, and the hostess smirked and said, “Oh, happy hour is only at the bar… you didn’t know that?” Obviously not, because neither she nor the waiter bothered to tell us while eagerly seating us in their empty restaurant. Honestly, this place feels like it survives by scamming clueless customers rather than serving decent drinks or food. If you want to be tricked into paying double for a mediocre experience, come here. Attaching pictures of the happy hour sign, our receipt, and their embarrassingly empty restaurant.

With all restaurants there are hits and misses. The pasta at La Piazza was a definite hit. The pasta was tasty, cooked the right amount, and sauces were made expertly. Same can be said of the Antipasta cheese board; which offered tasty chunks of cheese and scrumptious slices of sliced salami. The pizza was not bad, but also not great. A special mention should be made of the tiramisu which had the perfect amount of sweetness; something rare in the sugar crazy US.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Dining Experience at La Piazza, New York

The first thing that struck me upon entering La Piazza was the elegance, cleanliness, and overall beauty of the space. The ambiance is refined yet welcoming — the kind of place where every detail feels intentional, from the tasteful decor to the gentle background music that sets the perfect tone for a relaxing meal.

The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive, making us feel truly valued. A special mention goes to Alex, the manager, who personally checked in with every table to ensure guests were happy — a rare and much-appreciated gesture that speaks volumes about the level of care and commitment to hospitality.

The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and every single one we tried was nothing short of outstanding. From appetizers to desserts, the ingredients were fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. You can tell the kitchen takes great pride in their craft.

La Piazza also enjoys an excellent location, making it an ideal spot whether you’re a local or visiting the city. It’s the kind of place that effortlessly combines upscale dining with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

I wholeheartedly recommend La Piazza — not just for the delicious food, but for the entire experience. It’s rare to find a restaurant that gets everything right: the setting, the service, the cuisine, and the people. Can’t wait...

While exploring the stunning St. Patrick’s Cathedral and doing a little shopping along 5th Avenue, my friends and I stumbled upon a delightful Mediterranean restaurant that completely exceeded our expectations. This spot offers a perfect blend of fresh seafood, brick oven pizza, and pasta dishes that transport you straight to Venice.

The seafood here is nothing short of impressive — every dish we tried featured incredibly fresh ingredients, with none of the usual fishy odor you sometimes get with seafood. It was evident that quality was a top priority. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the pizza, straight from the brick oven, had a perfect balance of crispy crust and savory toppings.

What really set this place apart, though, was the atmosphere. Cozy yet high-end, the interior felt like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, offering a perfect setting for a meal. The staff was another highlight. Professional, courteous, and genuinely kind, they made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in.

And for dessert — don’t leave without trying the tiramisu. It’s truly a must-have, and one of the best I’ve had in a long time.

I typically don’t take the time to write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this place. If you’re ever in the area, definitely make time to stop by — this restaurant is a true...

An unforgettable experience – authentic Italian cuisine at its finest! “La Piazza” is, without a doubt, one of the best Italian restaurants in New York! The food was absolutely delicious: fresh, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with passion and attention to detail. You can immediately tell that there’s a real Italian chef in the kitchen – it doesn’t get more authentic than this.

The service was flawless – professional, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and full of Italian charm – perfect for a special night out or a relaxed dinner.

Prices are a bit on the higher side (around $60–$80 per person), but it is absolutely worth every cent. “La Piazza” is more than just a restaurant – it’s a memorable dining experience.

I will definitely be coming back – and highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional Italian food...
