Dr. Dagan is a 5-star doctor in various, comprehensive ways.
As background, Dr. Dagan identified a small growth during a routine check-up + ear wax removal; I myself shave every day and didn’t notice the accumulation / preliminary stages.
This growth, which was a benign tumor of my salivary gland, continued to grow and began bothering my hearing and jaw.
While I was hesitant to do anything decisive whatsoever, he monitored progress during follow-ups (mostly involving ear wax removal) and patiently explained the science & mechanics of my tumor while presenting options on treatment.
Once it became apparent that the growth needed to be removed, mainly for preemptive reasons, he and his team worked with me to schedule the surgery. I have a busy work schedule and my family needed to fly in from Texas, and the office was able to coordinate something for me in August at a moment’s notice. This is something we’re very appreciative of.
Dr. Dagan did a fantastic job removing what was a very complicated growth and shuffled his schedule around when it took longer than anticipated.
Post-operation, the staff was very attentive and responsive. I had some minor complications, but they were there every step of the way to explain what was going on and proper course of treatment. The PA, Rian, used an app to keep in contact which made it very efficient/easy (particularly because I wasn’t in the talking mood). They also were available whenever I wanted to stop into the office in the weeks following surgery.
A couple of months after the surgery, no one can notice incision and there is no pain. I am back to normal and full-speed already after a complex operation. I can’t thank Dr. Dagan and his entire staff, including Rian and Paela (office manager), enough for guiding me...
Read moreI was referred by a really good neurologist, so I am surprised to have had a bad experience here. The "Dr." (quack) dismissed all of my concerns, insulted my intelligence over and over, and refused to evaluate me at first. He said that the ENT area can't be affected by my head injury (a lie), and only evaluated me after I corrected him and insisted. He seems misogynistic or something. Probably disorganized as well, considering that he did not even know the reason for my visit despite the fact that I was referred, and answered a whole questionnaire with the intake staff. And he had no idea why I was so irritated. A gaslighter too. He even managed to spin not wanting to do his job to sound like a pep talk at the end. A wordsmith, I'll give him that - which by the way, a real doctor should be able to access medical records, and receive records from other doctors. So expecting the patient to do all the leg work with that is definitely new to me. Perhaps I should've known not to come to a doctor that identifies as a plastic surgeon for this issue.
I would also be wary about shady billing practices. I've never experienced a "Dr." that requires patients to provide credit card info for extra fees (when they have insurance). Unfortunately, I was not surprised when I was prompted to sign an acknowledgement for the receipt of the notice of privacy practices even though they didn't provide the notice (lots of offices do that).
I think it's very important for everyone (especially those from marginalized groups) to educate themselves about their Healthcare so that they don't fall victim to doctors that take advantage of their position to mislead patients about their condition (they get paid more for certain procedures). It's always good to get...
Read moreDr. Dagan is a phenomenal doctor and surgeon. Recently he corrected a deviated septum that severely impacted my breathing and would eventually dry out the one nostril that I could breath from causing frequent and severe nosebleeds. Dr Dagan exhausted all non surgical approaches first. It came to the point that just for the benefits of being able to breath freely through my nose was worth fixing the problem, I must give a huge kudos to his office staff as well, especially Kiran who really went out of her way to insure that things went smoothly, for my situation since I opted to also get a rhino plasty it actually made more financial sense to pay out of pocket, she actually went to the hospital in New Jersey to negotiate a bottom dollar fixed rate, and I really can’t thank her enough. There was zero pressure or attempts at “upselling me” on the cosmetic part.
After the procedure, the doctor was available to answer my questions, I felt like he did a phenonmal job with his “bedside manner” both before and after the surgery, I think its just his nature, he clearly is passionate about his work as he likes discussing almost similar to a potter discusses sculpting, however, at the end of the day the proof is in the pudding. After my recovery I was in work the following week, when I asked my older brother what he thinks of my new nose he retorted “It looks the same to me” To me, that was such a relief, I think a job well done you shouldn’t be able to tell that you got a “nose job” I think his pricing was extremely reasonable, at the end of the day, the quality of his work is what matters.
Highly recommended P.S. Thanks to his entire office staff who...
