We recently celebrated a special occasion with a group of 10 people, and it couldn't have been more perfect! Absolutely phenomenal dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with elegant decor that made for a perfect evening setting. Server Jenna was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and offering fantastic recommendations. The food—wow! Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh flavours and beautifully plated. We started with the special Crispy Shrimp, Nachos and Cheese Quesadillas which were perfectly seasoned and just melted in our mouths. For the main course, we had the Rib Eye Steak, Chicken Fajitas, Salmon, and Plantain Chips, and everything was truly unforgettable—rich, tender, and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we tried their special Sizzling Brownie [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR CHOCOLATE LOVERS] and it was the perfect finish to an already outstanding meal. Kudos to new owners Mike and Rishu as they are doing a fantastic job. Overall, everything from the service to the ambiance to the food was just top-notch. Worth every penny and then some! We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this gem to everyone we know. A true five-star experience!

Atmosphere was not bad, music was very good. We ordered the queso fundido with beef. There was no beef in that at all. The chips with guacamole were not bad. But the chips were a bit stale Watermelon Mojito pitcher was delicious The strawberry and mango frozen margarita was not good honestly. The passion fruit would be your best choice When we asked out server to please take the drink back she offered to "change" it We assumed we wouldn't get charged seeing as how we did not want another drink we just wanted it removed from the table for space. She charged us for it. ‼️‼️‼️Concerns were the bathroom, very dirty and the floors were extremely slippery. Trash bin was overflowing with tissue and the toilet paper rolls were not wrapped and put on top of the toilet. I washed my hands in about three separate occasions and saw no change until about closing time. ‼️‼️Also I'm not sure who this man was but there was a hefty man with a white dress shirt standing by the servers entrance that was watching my friend and i the whole time It was very inappropriate and uncomfortable. I am not sure why he was watching us and wasn't told anything. I'm not sure if he worked there and thought we weren't gonna pay but it was very unacceptable‼️‼️

Stupid rules + staff with no common sense = bad experience. My brother, wife, daughter and I walked in at 6 pm on a Saturday, big mistake. In order to get the margarita “special” (ten dollar discount) we had to sit at the high bar table, my wife is pregnant and we had my toddler with us so sitting at the high table was not an option, so we sat literally 3 feet away... and the place was empty. Apparently that doesn’t count for the margarita special and the woman in charge couldn’t understand our situation and said those are the rules and she can’t change them. I was very nice and explained we would happily sit there but couldn’t bc the high chair would be below the table so we wanted to sit on the very next low table. What if I was in a wheel chair? Then what? She went on and on that it was “Not Possible” to change the rules. So we left... didn’t eat there and walked right across the street to Oliver’s and had 8 margaritas and 3 entrees and were treated very well. Point the of the story... skip Las Margaritas and go anywhere else.

Street parking but depending on when you come it is not difficult to find parking at all. there is also meter parking around the area.

Booth sitting they are very comfy and you also have that option.

Loud music, if you came here for a nice romantic night and to get to know your crush, think twice. this place has a loud music agenda here, this is a place where you will scream at people across the table.

Margarita flavors, one of their specialties here is the variety of margarita flavors so be wearing and go for a different type of drink.

Special and special drinks they have some great specials so make sure to ask the waitress about before you make your drink order.

Very accommodating for reservations, they always make sure to get all guests a table, I love that about them.

Great food, the food here is pretty great, very expensive for the area where this is located but they never let me down as far as flavor.

The menu has shrunk a lot since I last been here last, but that in my opinion is a good thing, I don't have time to be going through a billion pages of menu.

The service is pretty good the waitress was very quick to come with menus, take our drink orders and the drinks came out very fast.

I was impressed with the service specially cause it was a busy day and valentines day at that.

COCONUT FROEN MARGARITA- pretty delicious, it's like a pina colada with tequila and no pineaple juice, this is my favorite frozen flavored pina colada

ENCHILADA DE MOLE POBLANO- here is my go to plate, I love the mole sauce they have here, I got with cheese inside, it was nice sweet and spicy, I just wish there was a bit more sour cream on top of it but none the less it was pretty nice. It came with rice and beans on the side but the enchiladas didnt even need that they stood on their own.

Now here is an issue... or 2 lol

The music needs to be better for sure, and it would not hurt if they had the music a bit lower.

But the big thing was that they had made the sides of rice and beans smaller and then charged 8 dollars for extra.... on the dinner for 2 they send only one order of rice and beans and nearly one person can eat it.... it's not enough. They need to rethink the serving....

I love this place, but they need to think a bit about the pricing per side serving cause this kind of thing can and will make people unhappy but other than that, I...

We went here as a small group for New Year's Eve and were delighted. The service was on par with, if not much better, than more high end expensive restaurants. Our waiter and staff were not only kind and helpful but you can tell it was authentic and they truly wanted us to have a great night which we did. Now to the food. To be honest we were very skeptical about it because we've never been but our friends love this place and we wanted to give it a try. The food was incredible. I know it may sound like I'm exaggerating but really everything was prepared quite well. We mostly ate off the New Year's Eve menu so we had the filet mignon. It was cooked perfectly and very tender. On par with a good steak house but for much less money. We did try a few apps off the main menu. We could tell that the fried calamari was very fresh. The cauliflower soup was a hit too, and the beef nachos were also great. No complaints at all about the service or food. The only comment I have about the atmosphere is that because they had a DJ, the music was really too loud. He was great and we enjoyed the music but just a bit too loud for dinner as we all now have sore voices from yelling across the table. Maybe after or close to midnight I could understand but it was pretty blaring for the whole dinner and we were there for hours. We had a great time but ears are ringing and it's the next day. Normally there's no DJ so I don't think it would be an issue on a regular evening. Nevertheless, we will definitely be going back soon to try more on the menu. Lastly, the drinks were good and strong. All in all a great experience. I highly...

Excellent food and drink, outstanding margaritas (hence the namesake) but I've had mixed to mediocre service. A friend of mine and I were sat outside around 640PM recently. Within a fifteen minute period give or take afterwards, tables near us were sat, as happens, it's a restaurant nearing the end of happy hour. From what I could tell, the 'section' we were in was different than the other tables' as far as server assignments. My friend and I put in our app + dinner order during this time. We waited around 45 minutes for the appetizer order of nachos to come out, during which time the other tables around us received their food, not just apps, but their full entree meals. I didn't want to be 'that guy', but after a certain point we had to say something and inquire about our food. The food was brought out hastily not long after and was worth the wait, but by that point I was no longer 'Team Margaritas' as I was when I had first walked in. I'd gone in with a friend hyping up the place as some of the best Mexican food in Astoria and left pretty disappointed by the service. Things happen, restaurant work is hectic, I understand that, I've been there. I wouldn't dissuade others from going here as I can see they're a respectable establishment with good food & drink, but to wait almost 50 minutes for an appetizer is ridiculous at...
