Lash Out Bar — Local services in New York

Im writing this review in hopes that I could help someone else out since I feel the other reviews are misleading. I’ve been unlucky in my search for a new lash tech since moving to queens & from the positive reviews I thought I’d give this place a shot. These lashes are wack to say the least. Very thick & spaced out. You can tell they use cheap lashes even when I brush them the feel so hard. All the lashes are the same length, she didnt use shorter lashes in the corners. I asked for wispy & she just made them all the same size not wispy at all. I should’ve known it was a red flag when I showed her a pic of my lashes that my prev tech used to do & she said “ I’ll try my best” then goes on to tell me shes been lashing for 9 years. Im sorry these lashes my daughter could’ve done for me & she’s only 7. Another red flag is she finished in 45 minutes & she didnt get every lash. People were coming in as walk ins & the whole process was rushed due to people waiting. Sasha did my lashes, maybe the other girls are better but it was a total waste of money. Even my bf said they werent good & thats how i knew they sucked because he always tells me i look good even when i dont lol. I just keep looking in the mirror & i cant wait to take them off. Dont even waste your time here unless you like...

I went to this place because it appeared to be aesthetically appealing and legit. I booked for a hybrid set and when I got there I explained to the technician that I’d like the set to not be too overwhelming and I like to keep them short on the inner corner and outer corner with the longest in the middle because I don’t want a cat eye look. It makes my eyes look droopy. She just said ok and proceeded to do whatever she wanted and gave me the cat eye look and only took 30 minutes to do my lashes? Red flag…. As soon as another customer walked in and asked if there was an opening for walk in, she said yes and began fanning my eyelashes and telling me I’m done because I came 5 minutes early? Red flag. My lashes look so dense and fake but of course they charge the full $120 price for lashes that look like I could have gotten them at an eyebrow spot and than proceeds to send me her Zelle for tip as well. I’ve never had my lashes done before and I came here to try it out for the first time. I told the lash tech that I wanted NATURAL lashes, as I’m not into the giraffe look that many women get. I emphasized “natural” many times. The woman immediately asked me “size 12?” and I asked if that was natural since I have no sense of what the lash sizes look like. I wanted to see the lashes but she was so eager for me to get started on me and she kept reassuring me that 12 was natural. It was not. I looked like a porn star. I ended up coming back the next day to get them removed, and they were closed despite their store hours stating they were supposed to be open. I ended up going to another place to get them removed and redone at a natural length. I would not recommend this place for newcomers unless you know EXACTLY...
