Last Call Bar — Restaurant in New York

2024-September-27 The Last Call Bar is not a restaurant! They do not serve food, cook food or provide food! They do allow eating of food here, and have an extensive collection of menus for places that deliver food. You want Chinese food? Have it delivered. You want pizza? Have it delivered. You want a burger? Have it delivered. Whatever you want. If it's available in the Kew Gardens area you can have it delivered. There are lots of folks who regularly have their dinner at the last call bar. This includes bartenders and frequently they'll order together with other patrons, so if you're there and of a hungry mind, ask join in.

2024-August-08: Note that the Last Call Bar is alive and well. It is a local hangout. Nany people I've met there refer to as the best bar in the world. It's also a hangout for a lot of airline people who stay in Kew Gardens The location is more or less equidistant between Kennedy airport and LaGuardia airport, or JFK, LGA airports. While the last call doesn't serve food, there are many options in the area that you can have delivered ordering takeout from many places.

2024-June-01: Oh, someone said to me, "You mean the bar that has no sign on it?" That's right. There is no sign saying what the name of the bar is. There is on the second floor a flag which has a martini/ cocktail glass on it, and that's the total of what identifies this as a bar. Chairs outside, with little tables so you can have a drink & smoke. Why? Because nowadays you can't smoke anywhere. There is no food served here however they have a collection of menus so you can order takeout to be delivered of whatever kind of cuisine you are interested in. And they have a good selection of takeout places menus. There are no day drinkers per se, as the Last Call Bar opens at 3:00 p.m. This seems to be the trend since covid as bars got hit hard. Open at 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. and stay open till 4:00 a.m. requires at least two shifts of bartenders. Afternoon opening requires only one shift of bartenders. October 2023 review: Can you be fixated on Halloween? Well just take a look inside and you'll see all the scaries and spooks and ghosts and goblins all over the place. Last cold bar take special pride and care in their Halloween decorations. Bring the kids in early late afternoon for a soda and to see the goblins and stuff. You'll like it and they will too. In addition to that, they have a collection of local places menus that will deliver so you can have whatever you want. You like Indian food. You can get that delivered. You like fried chicken. You can get that delivered. You want a burger? No problem, whatever you want. They got it via delivery. ... Absolute favorite local bar in Kew garden. No one should go to any other bar. If you want food there are bars that have food. Austin Ale House is good. All Lady Bartenders and these ladies contribute to the great ambience. Right now they're decorating for Halloween. You might say they have a fetish with Halloween and every year it gets better and better or worse and worse. So it looks like a house of horrors, inside. But it's just the decorations. Local "cheers feel" bar. I went after a movie screening. Medium size room with a pool table in the back & about 3 TVs. Separate restrooms which were semi dirty (it was still early evening.) Most knew each other but you still have single seated tables for those who don't want to be bothered. It's cool they have an airline schedule board which is updated. Great friendly local crowd. If your looking for a place with a grown up crowd, well behaved and respectful then come here. Variety of tap beers, top shelve liquor and pool table to boot.

Love this place during the week and weekends. No food served but you bring your own from a variety of local neighbourhood restaurants.
