Aggressive servers, inconsiderate and rude. When my friend pulled out a long hair from his mouth from the food served on his plate, the cook, waiters and owners came in, screamed at each other in Chinese and said “no oil in hair it’s your hair”. My friend has a boy cut and obviously the hair was not his and we witnessed him take out the hair from him mouth. NO SORRY NO APOLOGY NO GOOD BEHAVIOR. We were all polite and calm yet the staff said “we won’t charge”, my friend refused to eat the food, one of the waiters came by and said “ok” and SNATCHED the plate away from my friend saying “we won’t charge you”. We as paying customers seek quality and a polite environment, we are not trying to save change money we are not giving charity money but paying for good food. The staff were also appearing to be racist, they were blabbering and looking down on my friends and I, while we taking politely the staff was screaming. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE they did not once offer to provide a new plate of food for my friend as a courtesy due to making a mistake on their end. I am absolutely appalled from the lack of consideration and care. PLEASE VISIT NIKKO HIBACHI, BENIHANA OR ANY OTHER HIBACHI, at tokyo hibachi you will surely not receive good food but only will receive hatred, be subject to racism and end up leaving the restaurant with a bad taste in your mouth. YOUVE...

Ok, so we have been here enough times to recieve the beautiful handmade origami swan (which means we have been here over 30 times). The first time I went I loved the food and thought it was way better than Benihana. The chefs are nice, but aren't very entertaining at all. Some times we don't even get the simple onion volcano or hearted-shaped rice. Well, we went tonight and noticed a drastic change in portion size- enough where I don't feel it's worth it to go anymore. Both he hibachi food and the sushi are good....except tonight they are causing severe stomache pains :/

Anyway, today has made me decide to try another restaurant. Sorry, Tokyo Steak. It was fun while it lasted. Oh! also Mama-san and Papa-san are super sweet, while the daughter leaves much to be desired. She acts like your'e an inconvenience (she's the waitress) and I would praise the high heavens if I ever got a...

I came here to eat food with my friends, the ambience initially felt nice, the server was kind but after making us wait 20 mins, we were given a seat. The chef was not at all welcoming and there was hair in my food; when I showed it to them, without having to listen to their customer’s discomfort, they quickly blamed it on the customer. Then the manager literally came and looked at the hair just to tell me, “it’s clean and without any grease on it”, when I pointed that my hair is short, he started rambling but when I was opposing him! He snapped the plate In-front of me and told me that I don’t have to pay for it and walked away with my plateful of food or even offering to take an order or atleast have the courtesy of apologizing. Nothing he did but showed attitude. Never going back and please approach...

This is a neighborhood gem I presume but for the Habatchi only it would seem. There were no lines or wait times for the regular dining room (which serves Chinese/Japanese/Sushi). Meanwhile the lines for the Habatchi were really long...make a reservation if you can. I was driving by the neighborhood and recall seeing it from the LIE dozens of times. So on a whim, we found street parking nearby and went in for dinner on a holiday weekend, Sunday night. This place has quite a few habatchi chefs but not enough wait staff. I found the fried rice and steak habatchi to be good. My scallops were a generous portion and quite large in size but I found them to be a tad salty. And I tried the fried gyoza but know that this one does not contain meat. Their gyoza is all vegetables.

I've been here many times before. Service is great. Servers are attentive. The chef's are different every time and all are trained well. I have not had a bad meal yet! My meals are always cooked just as I've requested. They even accommodated my many allergy free requests with 7 other diners at my table and it was well executed. It is a hibachi restaurant, but not similar to others. They are family oriented, encouraging other diners of different parties to sit together sharing a table, meal and often times good conversation. There is a sushi bar, a wine list, beer and Sake! It's a fun place to dine and maybe you'll meet new people. A staple restaurant for my family and soon yours.

Our family went to Tokyo restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday. On late Monday night the place was not crowded, just one party besides us. Fun performance by well trained chef helped making our waiting time a very entertaining show time. All of us ordered hibachi dinners which included soup, salad, appetizer and main entree. Soup was a bit too salty but very flavorful. Fried rice was probably the best fried rice I have ever had. A few additions, spices and herbs made it perfect. The price was a bit on expensive side but the portions were generous and good half of each entree went home in the doggie bag. It was a fun night out and we will be back soon.
