My friends and I had a fun time at their retrobar 80s, 90s and 2000s night. A few mins after we left, I noticed my wallet was missing. We went back and left no stone unturned to look for it for 1.5 hours. The next day, a credit card of mine was used. I reported it to NYPD (whose work was impressive) and went through a nightmare of having to fly home with no ID and no $$ in NYC. Two weeks later, I received a call from the bar that my wallet had miraculously turned up during cleaning (do they only clean every two weeks?) and I was asked to “please let NYPD know and close the case.” I asked a friend who lives in NYC to pick it up for me since I live out of town and even though she had a picture of my ID and I called ahead to let them know she’d be coming, they refused to give it to her. She rode the train for 40 mins with her baby on a windy day to pick it up. I called the bar very upset and they finally released my property. Needless to say, I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone or...

I give them 3.8 stars.. The older white gentleman at the bar was really nice and handled the enormous crowd yesterday for Veterans Day well. The poor servers were overwhelmed and it showed unfortunately, the food came out in a timely manner.

Food: overpriced and very bland. Veterans Day Parade after party Drinks: great and manhattan prices $20, I stuck to beers and a couple shots with my Military brothers.

Note: they include gratuity!

Overall i think it’s a potential good spot for me to go for Happy Hour (if they have one, didn’t see any signage) for drinks and watch a game but no food....

I literally had the best fish and chips I've ever had in my life. The Cod was flaky White and fresh. The coating was extra crispy and delicious. Everything was great and the Guinness was delicious as well. I don't know what they did but there was something extra delicious about this place. Derek was the bartender and waiter and was very helpful and the service was excellent. My husband had the burger and it was thick and juicy and perfectly cooked and seasoned and the roll was perfect. I know I'm being redundant buti...

Cool low key Irish pub near Grand Central right off of 5th Ave. Stopped in on early Saturday evening so wasn't crowded at all. Service was good and talkative bar tender. Unfortunately the food was meh average at best. The $18 Angus burger just wasn't hitting it, would have rather spent less at a Shake Shack near by. So close to $40 for just an appetizer and a burger, more like a tourist trap and definitely can find better food in the area at this price point. Sorry MJ Smith, won't be seeing me again.

It was a girl night out and my friend took me here. MJ Smith is one of her favorite bars. We actually went to eat at another place before, but we just wanted one more drink (but you know it wasn't just one) We got cosmopolitan- very good and some beef sandwich. Bartender was super nice and friendly. We ended up went back home four hours later than our plan.
