đ A COLD WEATHER MUST TRY IN BROOKLYN!
This is sophisticated comfort food (the Cremini đâđ« Mushroom one wouldâve brought Anthony Bourdain here in a heartbeat! I found out about this spot online after a meeting in this area. What a treat!
Coffee and homemade cookies and muffins are also a specialty here too. There is a small âcozy cornerâ to enjoy a âcoffee dateâ but the counter is the best spot to dive into your Mac & Cheese. đ« THIS the ULTIMATE Mac & Cheese served in-house in the cutest cast-iron pot! The presentation is everything and it comes bubbling hot!
Otherwise, get it âTo-Goâ in an ordinary aluminum container. The combination of flavors offered are extraordinary, they even have a well-respected VEGAN Mac & Cheese but on the day I went, they were completely out of anything vegan. So I dug into that cheese and wow wow wow, the friendly gentleman in the kitchen knows how to cook! It was so good that I ordered a second âValue Sizedâ one, but asked for no extra cheese on topâŠnot a problem!
In an area with few dining spots this place should have a line around the block, especially for their lunch specials! My fancy mushroom Mac cost me about $16! But many versions of this great dish can be enjoyed at only $6.99 at lunchtime! I also linked the music đ¶ they play and the paintings created by Ladie Olvida! đš
This place is a cool spot to hang out with a warm treat as NYCâs weather starts getting colder. Love this spot, itâs like wearing a warm sweater in front of a fireplace, sweet as can be!!!
Youâll feel the charm and the dedication to EXCELLENCE! Itâs like eating in the kitchen of a dollhouse, sooo special!
They take Apple Pay too! And other methods. Tap and...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place, but after multiple visits, I just canât justify giving it a higher rating. I've been here 3 times, and each time Iâve been disappointed in one way or another. The first issue was when I was charged more than the menu price for a breakfast sandwich â and this was even after they were out of an ingredient! I ended up paying $13 for bacon bits and a slice of cheese on a croissant, which was absurd for what I got.
Today, the salmon bites looked like they were rushed out and honestly resembled dog food more than anything edible.
The menu is boring and lacks variety â itâs basically mac and cheese with a few meat options, but thereâs not a vegetable in sight. The mac and cheese itself is basic, and honestly, itâs shocking that itâs the main attraction of the place when it doesnât even stand out.
The space is beautiful, but the effort they put into renovations clearly didnât extend to improving the food or the menu. The counter staff were friendly, but professionalism was definitely lacking. They really need to step it up if they want to last long-term, especially with so many better...
