REALLY REALLY BAD SERVICE

I had just punched out of work. Pants, tshirt, arms & nails, Not at its best. Alittle Grimey. But my partner n I, were 2nd in THAII. Was beaten by 2 steps by these 2 ladies. From when I walked in, the 2 ladies running the place looked at me as I should turn around & get out. Oh, that just got me more riled. Not being too familiar w Thai cuisine, I asked the Matron "What appetizers can I order that would transport me to Thailand?" She acted as I insulted her. She didn't know what was on the menu. She had to look at it. My friend I was with is vegetarian. I asked her " what vegetarian app can she offer?" AGAIN, she had to look at the menu. I didn't get chopsticks w my appetizers, had to ask for the beer menu, water was warm and the place was humid. Everything I asked was answered w a shrug or low answer " Yes" "No". There was 1 item that had a good taste of shrimp. I asked " what was this I ordered? He started the answer "I think.....".YOU SHOULD KNOW, every item on that menu. I'm hoping the fact the I am PR and my friend is West Indian, leave her with an attitude. For a Thai place, I was looking for curry, heat spices, peanut sauce. I got NONE of that. I was served a light lager that was deliciously cold. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Next time I'll clean myself up, put on slacks, get hair, nails and goatee shapen b4 I go there again. I couldn't pay her to smile 🤨. I still left them a $5 tip on a $37 tab. My son worked as a waiter to put himself thru college. But, I'm sure she recognized my disappointment. Though she went low, I went high. Hopefully next post...

I've never been in but I believe this is the same restaurant that was called Malii but during covid closed. I noticed last night a new name at the same location with the same menu was open. So had to try and confirm. It's the same AMAZING food!. Their beef stew is to die for. I was craving this dish for so long since they closed and finally today my taste buds got an amazing treat. I've had their green curry, pad thai, fried rice. All very good! But like I said, the beef stew is my fav. I do wish it had less fat. I know some people like fat on their beef but I'm the kind that I want it no were near my mouth. But its also what makes this dish so flavorful. That would be my only complaint thats minor, that it be more lean meat and less fat. But, thank you for reopening and bringing back all these wonderful dishes back to our neighborhood. I will go back to ordering...

Such a bad experience. Maybe because I went to dine in at 8.30 . The food was okay but the waitress, my goodness. She was least interested to explain to me anything or even show some patience when I'm ordering. She literally rushed me out of the place, I asked her to recommend me a really spicy curry and clearly stated in the instructions to keep it Thai spicy but she gave least importance to anything I asked and just bought an extremely sweet curry. Customer service is zero. Although the other lady came to me once and asked if I was doing fine but that dint help me at all. The waitress literally snatched Menu from me when I was asking if she can let it be on table since I wanted to order main course. Horrible experience! I definitely don't recommend this place unless you want just okay food with...

Good Thai food in UES! If you are craving Thai this is the place to go! Location: It is located in UES. The restaurant is small with few seatings inside and outside. I usually order to go. Service: no interaction cause I ordered to go. Food: Everything was good. I ordered their lunch combo which is PAD THAI with CHIVE RICE CAKE: good pad thai, it was seasoned well and it has lot of pork on it. The chive rice cake is my favorite, it soft inside and fried well. ROTI MASSAMUM: omg it was so good! You have to get extra roti, cause the sauce is so good! Price rating: 6/10, it is not that bad for the amount of goodness you can have. Will definitely come back here if I am craving for Thai food! Been here multiple times and their food is always great.

Forgot my straw, but great stuff. Ordering online was a 15/10 - it was a breeze with the QR code from their menu. Lychee thai tea, Roti pancake with sauce, taro appetizer crunch, small box of salad with sauce, pineapple curry with vegetables, steamed jasmine rice. Free delivery. Lunch special - can’t beat for the quantity and price! Best thai food I’ve had in a long time. Everything was homemade, even the citrus duck sauce to soy-sauce base for the salad. Please do yourself a favor and order from here. I do wish they had non-spicy options, but the sauces were barely spicy. Even my lychee thai tea was perfect with the right amount of sugar (not overly sweet like Pepsi).

A warm and very welcoming joint, a bit cramped up during the evening rush but still very enjoyable environment. I Ordered the chicken Drunken Noodles, very very good, nicely balanced in spicy and seasonings , although I woulda liked a bit more veggies but still it was very Good. The chicken Fried Rice was also very good, nicely cooked, chicken was well done, not oily at all, I am very pleased. And the Thai Iced tea that was given to me as a complement for giving away my table for another family, very flavorful, and refreshing even at fall/winter. I would definitely come back and taste more Options
