MC Bakery and Coffeeshop — Restaurant in New York

Horrible customer service. I was told this place was a must visit while in The Bronx. Went in and sat down at the counter and waited 10 minutes no service. I asked the young lady if she would take my order and she told me I needed to stand in line first and then bring my food to the counter. (How does that make any sense?) Even more disappointing was she didn't have the common decency to turn around and talk to me looking in my face. The whole time she was talking to me I was looking at her back. Very sad....not to mention I observed her touching peoples food with her bear hands (she only had one glove on)and even dropping bread from the iron straight onto the counter then wrapping it up for the customer. Yuk!!!! That little heavy set girl must not like her job very much. She was treating food like she was mad at it. Slamming it and dropping it around. New York City attitude at its best.....NEVER AGAIN...no second...

I usually just get their breakfast and coffee. Which is ALWAYS on point! The staff is friendly and polite. There is usually 2-3 people cooking and taking orders so I would advise to patiently wait your turn and they will give you their full attention. I have purchased their small slice of tres leche and became addicted. I was nervous when I ordered a large tres leche cake that serves 20 because I want sure if the cake would be dry as I have experienced in OTHER bakeries.

When I say that this cake was beyond my expectations!!!! It was soooooo good and moist. Everyone loved it. I will be sticking to this...

I just stopped in. i was not feeling well and thought to treat myself to a tostada with freshly baked bread like i remembered from years back at this bakery . It has been in the neighborhood for years but to my dismay it is not the same. The tostada i ordered with turkey and cheese looked and tasted as i it was reheated in a microwave..gone was the toasty feel and taste from the bread and gone was the quality of the cold cuts. And to top it all off when i got home i realized got charged 5.00!!!!! Just for the tostada!!!! Serves me well for not cheking! Will not be going there ever again! Very...
