Perista coffee shop — Restaurant in New York

The food itself was solid, the customer service was unfortunate. The waiter wore his mask under his nose, and there wasn't a real attempt at social distancing. I was seated alone in a booth, a group of four was seated in the booth directly behind mine- less than a foot of space between me and two of them. In addition, I specifically asked them if they accepted my credit card as payment, they said yes- come to find out later that the card machine wasn't working, and I had to use their ATM to take out money to pay my bill. This was annoying, but the part that crossed the line was when the waiter took my $10 and didn't give any change back- he refused to even look at me when I approached him to ask if everything was settled. I would've given a tip anyways, but he clearly wasn't taking any chances. Never...

I pride myself on steak and eggs…I ordered this from here through DoorDash, and I’m sorry, this was horrible. My first time writing a disgusting review. But it was already bad enough the delivery driver spilled my order in the bag. I tried to just bunker down and eat what I paid for, and the steak tasted super old! Food is okay. The reason I order from them for the most part is they are one of the few diners that have decent quality sausage links.
