I don't know if I'm just typically lucky or what, but this is one of the only McDonald's I've been to that consistently forgets to add things to my bag.
I actually lost the habit of checking my bag to make sure I received everything because the McDonald's at my other job is so diligent, but you actually have to before you leave here.
I can't tell you how many times I've almost walked out without sauce for my nuggets. And when I have a 20 pc nuggets that's supposed to come with 3 sauces, they'll just give me 1. And for some reason they seem like they always hand you your food without a drink and wait for you to say something before letting you know that they're going to get it for you. If you're just coming here and picking up and order for someone else, make sure you verify if they have a drink or not because you may just end up walking out without one.
I also noticed that they put the straw in the bag with your food for some reason? But then they always wait to hand you your drink after, your food so if you didn't already check that the straw is in your bag, a logical person would just ask for it which just wastes time.
I feel like there are so many things they do here that's just incredibly inefficient. Like even if you put extra condiments like ketchup, napkins, and mayonnaise to your order and go to pick it up, you still have to ask them for...
Read moreUpdate ::: Still going strong with the BS at this store . I woke up to no gas - not an uncommon characteristic of NYCHA. I ordered breakfast from here. No sausage in my sausage egg McMuffin. No butter. No jam. Both I paid extra for on the app. No syrup for my son’s pancakes. No utensils despite specifically marking them on the order.
The fact that this is a consistent issue is absolutely a marker for me that it is being done purposefully. They marked everything off on the bag when they knew damn well everything was missing. The only thing in the bag was the big breakfast with hotcakes. No drink. No sausage egg McMuffin. And the butter and jam I have to pay extra for on Uber eats, also was not there. I’ve been living close by to this store for a little over a year now and quite honestly it’s only gotten worse. This store needs to get new management and new employees at this point. Ordering is not cheap and there is a variety of reasons people do, I have a child with a disability and fill a lot of roles sometimes I don’t have time or simply am too exhausted to deal with a kitchen. Read moreHorrible I paid for food and they refuse to give it to me. I asked for the district manager and got ignored for over 30min. Both hardly speak English and when asked for my food or a refund I got yelled at in Spanish in front of multiple people. I asked for the manager name and they looked at me and ignored me. This is the worse McDonald’s ever! You might as well go to Dunkin’ Donuts next door. They never have fresh food and the lobby is always left dirty with homeless people sleeping and using the bathroom. Extremely disrespectful! And it’s embarrassing to McDonald’s. I hope the district manager gets fried for hiring and not up keeping with this branch. The management is horrible! The customers service is even worse and everyone needs a training on it! None of their food is fresh. They constantly had people yelling at them for fresh food with a line out side the door due to lack of one cashier. Extremely disorganized. This McDonald’s needs a whole new team, management, and structure.
