Exceptional Living Experience at One Carnegie Hill!

We’ve absolutely loved our time living at One Carnegie Hill, and the main reason is the outstanding team that makes this building feel like home. When we began searching for a larger apartment, we toured many beautiful places across the city—including Tribeca—but we kept coming back to One Carnegie Hill. The staff truly sets this building apart, and they’re the reason we decided to stay and renew our lease.

The Doormen

The doormen are truly the heart of One Carnegie Hill. They make every day brighter with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. We especially want to recognize William, Travis, Robert Torres, Jeffrey, and Robert T. Each of them goes above and beyond to make residents feel welcomed and cared for.

They’re always on top of things—alerting us when packages arrive (often before we even ask), greeting everyone warmly, and maintaining such a positive presence day in and day out. Even the newer members of the door staff, who we’re just getting to know, are learning quickly and already bringing great energy to the building. Our experience with every single member of the team has been nothing short of excellent.

In Loving Memory of Doorman Joe

We also want to take a moment to remember Joe, one of the first doormen we met when we moved in. Though we only knew him briefly, he made a lasting impression. We had just arrived in the city, and it happened to be my birthday. Joe remembered and went out of his way to wish me a happy birthday—a simple gesture that meant the world at a time when I didn’t know anyone here.

His kindness and warmth captured what makes this building so special. We were deeply saddened to learn of his passing earlier this year, and we know his absence is felt by everyone who had the privilege of meeting him. The rest of the team has truly rallied together, honoring his memory and continuing to carry the same spirit of care and connection that he embodied.

The Leasing and Management Team

A special thank you to Jada White and Chris Lucier, who have been incredibly responsive and helpful with every question we’ve had. Their professionalism, warmth, and quick communication make the entire leasing experience smooth and stress-free. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the residents and take pride in keeping everything running beautifully.

The Maintenance Team

The maintenance team deserves so much recognition. We often see them early in the morning, working hard to keep every area of the building spotless and running smoothly. Whether it’s in the parking garage, hallways, or common areas, they are always diligent, efficient, and friendly.

We interact with them frequently when taking our dog in and out through the garage, and they never fail to greet us warmly, hold the doors open, and say hello to our pup. It’s clear that they take pride in their work and in making sure residents feel comfortable and cared for. Their dedication truly shows in how beautifully maintained the building is every single day.

Community Feel & Long-Term Residents

One of the things that really stands out about One Carnegie Hill is the sense of community. During our daily comings and goings, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting two residents who affectionately refer to themselves as the “OGs.” They’ve lived here since the building first opened—over 20 years ago—and told us how much they still love it here.

Hearing that from people who’ve made One Carnegie Hill their home for two decades says so much about the quality of the building, the management, and especially the staff. It’s clear that this is a place people love to stay, and that sense of longevity and pride in the community really shines through.

We truly can’t say enough good things about the staff and management at One Carnegie Hill. Their dedication, warmth, and professionalism are what make this building feel like home. Because of them, we decided not only to stay with Related but to continue living right here at One...

This Related building is a fantastic place to live in the Upper East Side. It is conveniently located 1.5 blocks from the 6 train and will be half a block from the new 2nd Ave subway when it opens. The doormen and staff are excellent and all amenities are exactly as promised. Plus, all apartments have a washer and dryer in the unit!...
