From the begging I ordered free fries with a reward that gives free fries with the purchase of any drink, I gave my bar my bar code in the counter and they took my order. First things I saw was that didn’t add my fries but they took my money from the soda, they gave me the cup for the soda and asked in the counter where were my fries, they told me to wait and I literally waited for 30 minutes for them to tell me I was not going to get that, because I supposedly used my points for the drink when you can’t even get a drink with points, I showed the proof and they just told me to wait again, after 15 minutes I went to the counter again and I asked for my fries, the guy infront was so disrespectful that he looked at me, turn around and said in Spanish “yo no la voy a atender, estoy muy estresado” as if I didn’t know Spanish, then another lady came upfront and told me that I was not getting my order, because I needed to pay for my FREE FRIES, I showed her the proof again and she didn’t care, I waited five minutes, I went back up again and asked for the manager, the two employees that talked to me started talking shit about me infront of me and infront of other clients, I tried to stay calm and I waited another 10 minutes even though they were able to attend me during that time, after that the manager came back and asked me what was going on, I explained the situation and showed him the proof, which was crazy because he didn’t ask my name or bar code to add my fries, while I was talking to the manager the employees were whispering about me, saying I was making an escene because I didn’t have enough money to pay for my order, they also didn’t wanted to get people their orders, with the excuse of being to stressed, the manager ended up giving me my order. The service was horrible, and the mcChicken my friend order was gone bad, the lettuce was not fresh, I don’t recommend it. And it’s not the first time...
Read moreComing home late on a saturday night I decided to stop off at mcdonalds and get my usual late night snack for my husband and I. A #4 large, 2 crispy chicken ranch wraps and a large sweet tea. I usually go to this mcdonalds because It is 3 blocks from my apartment and open 23 hours (supposed to be 24 hours but they like to close every day for an hour or 2 around 330am until breakfast) I frequent this location about 1-2 times a week. I have NEVER gotten good food from this location. Fries are ALWAYS rock solid and food is usually cold. Tonight was different though. We got our food and walked home. Once we arrived home we opened our food. The #4 sandwich box was crushed so we knew that wasnt a good sign. We opened it to find a thumb hole in the top bun and the meat wasnt even ON THE BUN. so we picked it up to examine it and saw the bottom half of the bun was so soggy that it looked like it had been soaking in a bowl of water. Then we opened the chicken wraps and found Fritos???! Yes FRITOS on the ranch wrap. Then we felt the fries and they were ice cold. The sweet tea was as usual with this location unsweet but I am used to it seeing as they for some reason never have sweet tea at night.. Anyways, we walked back and had them remake everything. They didnt seem happy to do it at all. I checked the food and went home. Thought everything was fine until I opened my wraps and the tortilla shells BOTH split completely down the center and everything fell. worst mcdonalds in the USA. Yes Its mcdonalds so I cant be snooty but there is a certain degree of quality It SHOULD have. and This mcdonalds lacks quality by a landslide. I dont know why corporate hasnt gone in and taken their...
Read moreAs far as McDonald's go, this one has a VERY chill and relaxed vibe. The seating arrangement is unique with a large triangular bench pit in the center of the store that accommodate 15 -20 guests at about 6 tables that swivel around and even fan out for more tabletop area. Very cool. There's plenty more regular booth tables lining the outside of the triangle shaped room with a small party section to one side towards the rear.
The music is usually very chill lofi vibe at a comfortable volume, and not blasting Reggaeton or hip hop. The lighting is likewise subdued but adequate. Nice. There's A LOT of space to move around comfortably except right at the counter where it's a little confusing where to stand to not be in other guests' way. The bathroom is usually clean and has an inner toilet closet with a locking door.
The food is usually well prepared, hot, fresh and served politely. When it's crowded they sometimes mess up the order usually forgetting one or two items. Check your bag right away and they'll quickly remedy the mistake. It can also take a while at peak times - lunch and after school - up to 20 minutes.
The location was excellent, just 2 blocks from where I was living, and I very much enjoyed coffee and breakfast there in the mornings. Late night visits were always peaceful and chill. Very chill.
The manager is VERY polite and helpful. Sometimes during the day there's a guard on duty chasing away the beggars. I haven't seen him in a while, though.
Probably my favorite Mickey D's in the city, and one of my favorite places to just hang out, chill, and maybe do a little work, assuming the chill tunes are playing.
A unique Mickey...
