First off, I’ve ordered from here multiple times but from the actual restaurant itself, not through Grubhub. Unfortunately, tonight’s experience rendered me livid because of the customer service. At first, the restaurant “Manager” (as she kept referring to herself as one) claimed she didn’t receive my grubhub order. She also stated that if I cancel the Grubhub order and just call the restaurant and use my card, it would be better. Mind you, the app stated my order was being prepared. I asked if she could alter my order via the notes I left in the comment section of the app, because all restaurants have a technique where you can add something of equal value and then add in the notes what you initially wanted. I ordered a General Tso Chicken and asked for fries in the notes.(this isn’t listed in Grubhub either) I also ordered a Chicken and Broccoli with plain fried rice. I also stated in the notes if they could alter the charge according to their prices. I wasn’t sure how much the fries and rice cost, hence my calling. I called back to confirm my order, and the woman was extremely rude, disregarded me as a customer, and threatened me that because the order was being prepared (Refer to my first statement when she stated she never received the order) I “Better” pay her. I canceled the order and she began yelling at me louder, to which I responded “I don’t want any problems and I would rather come in personally and order from there if it’s that serious.” Because of the constant bickering, unprofessionalism, and overall experience, I’ll never order from here again. Lastly, if she was upset about Grubhub, she could’ve just stated that. Oh well, it is now one of many Chinese restaurants in the height that is garbage literally. I had ordered shrimp fried rice small, which is over priced and found what I must believe was a piece of wire from a wire brush. Ok, I brushed it off ( no pun intended) it can happen I use to work in a restaurant, not a good one. The following week I ordered a small vegatable fried rice, by the way also over priced. Well, this time I found a 6" string in the rice. Now i could have returned and made a scene, not worth it people. The old hag that works the counter is a cantankerous fart and i know she would the most useless empathetic (vulgar language ) I will not use. Read moreUsed to be a lifelong customer, but I guess they’re under new management now. Made an order via phone one day 9:20 after a long day of work. Confirmed order will be arriving in 40 mins, but it never arrived. They never delivered it. I called before closing and got no answer.
I call next day to tell them what happened and the manager didn’t care, barely apologized. Asked if I wanted the order I made for dinner the night before right now, a whole day after, which felt pretty insulting. I asked if it’ll be comped or half off or 25% off or anything since we went dinnerless the night before due to them and the manager said no because it was a cash order.
