Famous Famiglia Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

The food was a mess! The boxes were completely soggy all of the cheese was stuck on the box because the boxes caved in. The two slices were over done and the Sicilians were very stale and tasted funny. The beef pattie was over done as well. The grilled chicken wrap was ordered well done and the chicken was as white as can be. No grill marks, not well done, and the wrap itself was falling apart. This is disappointing and a disgrace to sell food of this disgusting manner!!! That’s false advertising, basically it’s like stealing money that we work so hard to make.The manager, Gino, was rude and nasty on the phone and would not even take responsibility for his actions and tried to blame the delivery person who has nothing to do with the quality of food. He was not apologetic at all and said he would give a refund which he hasn’t and yelled never go there again. As if I would be that stupid to order anything ever again from there!!!! People who work near by at the hospital have told me the food sucks and I never thought so until now. I agree 100%!!!!! I usually don’t write negative reviews, but this place really disappointed me. Famous Famiglia Pizzeria serves some of the worst pizza I’ve had in New York.

I ordered a Sicilian square, and the crust was thick, dry, and flavorless (closer to stale bread than pizza). The cheese was rubbery and peeled off in one chewy sheet, making it nearly inedible. The sauce was bland, watery, and barely on the pizza. the little that came was in a cup on the side.

Even worse was the Hawaiian slice. Since it wasn’t on display, I was told they could bake one. Instead, they took a pre-made cheese slice, tossed canned pineapple and ham on top, sprinkled a tiny bit of cheese, and just warmed it up. Nothing was baked together, so the pineapple fell right off the slice. It was careless, sloppy, and honestly disgusting. When I pointed it out, the cashier simply said, “That’s how we make it here.”

For the price they charge, the quality is insulting. The only positive is that the place is kid-friendly, but food and service deserve negative stars. There are countless better options in the city. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a...

My pizza was 30 minutes late with no understanding from the pizza shop the guy came to deliver the pizza and had no change so he was on the phone with the shop and gave me the pizza and told me to give the money I had so he could walk down the street to get change who would give money for someone to run off with nobody at all then I told him nevermind to take the pizza back and called the shop for the girl who worked there to not let me speak to the manager and lie about him leaving and asked if there's anything she could help with and I said no I wasted almost 2 hrs dealing with your business not doing stuff professionally I also said how do you expect me to hand my money to the pizza delivery guy for him to run off for change how do I know he would come back so she said what do you expect him to do? umm I don't know have change for the deliveries he makes she started yelling and I hung up and wrote this review avoid this place they will not honor ethics and wont make things right they will just hide the errors and...
