MOE'S PASTRAMI & BURGER — Restaurant in New York

While this little restaurant near the subway has existed for years, only recently did the business get revived by the owners of David's, an excellent brisket and pastrami house. Much of the original menu remains, because it's great Lebanese food, but we came for the pastrami after beers at nearby Grimm.

And it was stupendous pastrami: moist, falling apart, briny, and just amazing, on rye with brown mustard of course. Sure, there was slaw and a pickle too, but that pastrami was meaty heaven. And it isn't expensive, coming in at $15 (I think; see Grimm, above).

Sure, it's bare-bones inside, functional seating and a counter for ordering, but that was never the point. This convenient and this good, I'd eat...

First!?! I want to say Thankkk you and finally I found a place that I feel at home! To The lovely lady and awesome Mom that took her time.. hour after hour after hour prepping and cheffing under the heat of the kitchen with her amazing Taste and style forming mouth watering flavors and ingredients that lure you into hunger.. smiles.. and crossing feet awaiting for multiple platters to arrive at the scene when your friends pull up for a great bite as the food being served. Highly recommend! The pastrami sandwiches are Amazing, my whole household loves them, but more importantly the service is unmatched! Last weekend I ordered a sandwich for my father ( bc it's his favorite, and I haven't come to visit in a while) and the order was cancelled bc of an issue with the store. I spoke with the owner and he was such a pleasant person to speak with. He apologized for the inconvenience and went above and beyond to not only get my order out, but he hand delivered it to my father's house!
