While this little restaurant near the subway has existed for years, only recently did the business get revived by the owners of David's, an excellent brisket and pastrami house. Much of the original menu remains, because it's great Lebanese food, but we came for the pastrami after beers at nearby Grimm.
And it was stupendous pastrami: moist, falling apart, briny, and just amazing, on rye with brown mustard of course. Sure, there was slaw and a pickle too, but that pastrami was meaty heaven. And it isn't expensive, coming in at $15 (I think; see Grimm, above).
