I ordered the dibi lamb on my last visit and it was flavorful, but a little tough. The fries did not taste fresh (probably because they were cooked in an old oil). Also, make sure to call before coming here because the restaurant is not open 24h. REVIEW FROM 5 YEARS AGO: I love the grilled fish with fried yams. I wish there was more consistency in the size of the alloco slice though. I also love the salad, mainly because of the dressing. I would not recommend the dibi nor the leg of lamb as they are overcooked. The staff is friendly, but the service is lacking. Patrons can be too loud and the restaurant can benefit from a renovation.

Last weekend after a late night of bumping and grinding on the dance floor my friend took us to New Ivoire resturant. He ordered us a traditional Ivorian Arachide Gombo (peanut butter & okra stew w/ beef) white rice on the side. The soup was absolutely flavorful and delicious, an absolute party in our mouths. The staff was inviting and proud of the dishes they served. The resturant has a simple yet homey decor. A definite crowd pleaser!

I work down the block from this restaurant. One of my coworkers recommended this restaurant to me. I ordered the fried fish with the jollof rice, peppers and sweet plantains. This is the best fish I have ever eaten, and I'm not big on eating fish. I will definitely be back again to try the pepper soup that was recommended for me to try as well.

The service improved waayyyyyyy much more hence the change in review...

Ok so i had a trip out the Jersey today for work and my hubby and i decided to drive to NY City to get atcheke. Actually in all fairness this was not the actual place i bought superb atcheke about 2 years ago. But since we mapped it and it took us here, i said why not.

Horrible taste for $19 an order. Got 7 orders. The atcheke was super dry and there was no sauce. Instead we were given pepper mixed with mayonaise. Avoid this place. The fish was inbetween dru and a.little.moist. Its one thing if the ambiance is poor but the food is excellent. Anorher horrible thing when both the ambiance and food are horrible which was the case.

Further, how cN you possibly go wrong with aloco, i mean this is an Ivorian side. Even a 5 year old can make aloco. It was down right TASTELESS.

I gave this place a 2 star because the lady was polite. One more thing, men kept coming in to use the rest room and were maskless. Who does that in todays world. The store did not even stop them from coming in considering the huge pandemic in NY.

Never again. There is a way better place, just cant...

I don’t know how these people had 5stars , but l have never been so disappointed in my whole life. The waitress are so mean and looked tired ; if you don’t want to be at work abeg just stay home. The dibi meat was too hard, burn and had no taste at all; the attieke was no comment smfh; the plantain does not even look like that picture 😂😂😂 they were begging me to put them in the crash which l did. Ash noonnn you guys need to close that place hahahahs abeg stop lying to yourselves oooh, Nigerians in Atlanta actually knows how to cook Ivory Coast food. This was an horrible experience and l ll never eat there again. Bad Market...
