New Luen Hing — Restaurant in New York

These people just blew mine! They hung up on my daughter telling her I told you, pay cash we don't take cards. My family has been ordering from here for over 15 years & I have recommended them to countless people. So, I call & I ask the woman if they are taking cards & she says yes w $10 minimum. AS IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN FOR THE PASSED 15 YEARS. Get my children's orders, I give it to him, he recognizes it & says I told the girl no cards, you pay cash. So I tell him that isn't so .... crickets, then an apology & I hung up on him. And, they've been telling other people things like, 'we don't deliver there', when 'there' is two blocks away. I don't know what transpired, but, never again. We had 2 incidents w them in 15 years, which is a great record. I shouldn't have let them slide. This system should let you...

I moved to the area in December. I've ordered over 10 times with no MAJOR issues BUT today they refused to take my card for delivery when I've never had any fraud associated with my card EVER! She told me after they get two more orders from other people they'll accept my card but had no issue doing it before and even becoming familiar with me. My guest even ordered over the phone from them. After she dismissed me on the phone I ripped up their menu, never again. Rather Use doordash then order from people that CLEARLY don't like you!! They think all minorities do fraud, in reality, they steal more than we do. We talking about a $15 order I get EVERY TIME...

So this is a mixed feeling review. First and foremost, the mood tastes very good, I highly recommend White Rice with Seasemi Seed Chicken or Fried, Steamed dumplings. My only concern is that every now and then when ordering out, it can take from the normal 5-10 minute wait to an hour or longer. While that's bad the food is not cold which leads me to think maybe they have surges in big orders at night but when the food does arrive it's still hot and, just in case, the food is not shady looking.
