The Bronx Documentary Center is a gem of a cultural institution. It is home base for Bronx photographers, journalists, documentarians a d the like. Basically it's our borough’s version of the ICP in Manhattan.
In just 4 years it had earned its reputation as an important community space with a world renowned reputation with equally renowned exhibitions and photographers.

Read moreI have been Voulenteering at the Bronx Documentary Center since i graduated highschool. The staff here are like family who are very PASSIONATE and HARDWORKING. I admire and look up to the progress from opening up this center to a neighborhood that is in great need of cultural influence. The BDC provides this for the community and me as well. I also live in the neighborhood and i know many people who began to become more interested in the arts, photography, and even activism.
