Los Nisperos inc — Restaurant in New York

Worst peruvian restaurant I ever been to. I would not even gjve them 1 star, the food had no taste (btw I'm peruvian I always like to visit new peruvian places to eat). We order 2 whole rostisserie chicken, 2 large french fries ( which were not a lot and were sparce in the plate to make it seem that they were barely filling the plate) they were oily & burn and I order an avocado salad (that had a lot of water on the bottom and the dressing was also watery). It is a disgusting place to eat we went there to try a new place with my family and left unsatisfied and mad for the horrible service & food this place has.The serving plates were really small and to top it all up they charge a "service" fee for staying at that restaurant to eat? I thought that service charge was the tips, until I read one of the comments here sayjng that it wasn't. I would not recommend this...

Update: sadly the food is no longer how it use to be, I don’t know if they changed the cook but the chicken is so dry and don’t even taste like a Peruvian chicken seasoning. And their ají use to be green now it’s all yellow and it don’t even taste good. The chicha morada use to come with little bits of apple they no longer do that but that still taste good. Unfortunately I don’t think I would be ordering from them again because I’ve order twice (see if it was just a one time thing) but the food is just not what it use to be and for the price I don’t think it’s worth it.

We had the chicken soup and it was well seasoned and had a generous amount of chicken for the price. We also had the lomo saltado and it tasted authentic. we had the tallarines verdes with steak. the pesto sauce had too much milk and it needed more queso fresco, basil, spinach and pecans. The sauce was a disaster but what made it even worse was the piece of wire scrubbing pad that I chocked with and was in my pasta. I notified the server who talked to the kitchen staff and never came back until I called her to ask for the check. I was never offered a replacement nor a refund nor anything to compensate for this incident and on top of everything the gratuity was included and it was only 2 of us sitting at the table....
