The name is not longer Nostrand Donuts. With the name, also is gone a business defined by excellent customer service where people used to feel like home. Where the workers knew you and would get you coffee without asking how you liked it because they just knew them. A business run by a respected, lovely, sweet, generous, customer service oriented family, was the key for their success. I very much miss them . The other place on 5th Avenue and Bay Ridge Avenue still open. The children of the owner had decided to continue his legacy. Good for them!! Better for us. The donuts are just as soft as dunkin but not as sweet and without the after taste. Though not as much variety as other donut shops I found it to be enough for our family.
