This place has the best Dominican cake ever. I always go here whenever I need a cake for a party and they always accommodate me even if its last minute. It's always been a hit, everyone always loves their cakes. My personal favorite is the pineapple. Their guava and strawberry are equally delicious as well.

I needed Dominican cake for my cousin in Jersey who got snowed in the weekend of her event and couldn't use the cake. She obviously canceled the event. They hadn't made our cake yet, but still decided not to give back the $96 we paid for the cake. I paid right before closing Friday night and tried to cancel this cake at opening Saturday morning mind you. Money hungry summa... They were not understanding and since we were forced to still get a cake with them when we finally did get it they gave us the ugliest cake ever and wrote the writing so crookedy and ugly. See the Happy Bday Cake for Saidy below. You would think for such an expensive cake they would at least write on it nicely! 😐😟😤

Also that Friday night that I ordered the cake one of the workers caught an attitude with me because I couldn't communicate with her because I don't speak Spanish and they don't speak English fluently. She apologized to me only after I said I had been a lifelong customer of theirs and just finished giving them a 5 star rating on Google. I didn't deserve the attitude and was not appreciative about it. I would have taken my business elsewhere if I wasn't in such a last minute bind for a cake that size. I regret not doing so. I completely agree with the the previous reviews regarding their horrible customer service skills. My family has been long standing customers of over 10 years and during this time we have had negative experiences with the personelle as well as buying stale food. Today, as I have never done before I had to return the cake that I purchased because I could not allow them to get away with it any more. It is sad and incorrect to have to ask every time you go if the food is fresh, as it should be at all times. In addition, when I explained to the workers that the cake was old they were indignant, rude and disrespectful and to make matters worse when they finally consented to giving me my money back one of them proceeded to put back one of the two pieces of cake I had purchased. That is OUTRAGEOUS and UNSANITARY! When food is brought back and resold to unsuspecting customers. That is a violation of the health code. I tried to educate them on the health laws and I was totally ignored. I also noticed other negative reviews which now makes more sense than before as to their behavior. Their response to a negative review is by asking the offended customer to simply return without having remediated the situation. The current personelle leaves a lot to be desired as they lack common courtesy and respect and they do not adhere to the customers needs. Unfortunately this place has horrible customer service and is extremely unprofessional. I am a teacher in the neighborhood and ordered an expensive cake for our school staff. We even paid extra for the dulce de leche. After receiving the pineapple filling (a less expensive option) I called to report their mistake. They asked me to bring a slice so that I could get back the difference in price. Once I got there, the extremely rude employee refused to give me any money back and was insisting I get other baked goods instead. (Most likely stale goods since it was close to the end of the day). She went as far as inspecting the slice I had brought for a good minute before confirming that it was in fact pineapple (Shocking-You work there and you can't tell off the bat that it's the wrong filling?). She lied and said she couldn't open the register. She said I couldn't speak to the manager. After 20 minutes of this ridiculousness and me having to speak firmly she finally agreed to call the manager. In the end I got the money (suddenly she knew how to open the register) but did not get a single apology for their mistake.
