Alex, Angel and their team are honestly the best! You can find anything you need and more from la candelaria. I have lived in NY my whole life and have gone from botanica to botanica, borough to borough and have to say hands down they are the best, they have everything you need from sticks, to candles to powders, oils, you name it and they have it. What I most love about them is that all their products are 100% legit exported and imported from cuba and other places where our roots may be. speaking of roots, yes they have roots, flowers, plants, fresh and dry. One thing ive always loved about coming here is that they have the things I need and if they don't they will most definitely try their best to get it for you. And if they don't have it they will guide you until you get it. Its more than a botanica its really a familiar friendly place where you can go and will always be recieved by a warm smile and hospitality. They prepare candles for your every need , and personalized which is something you dont see. I have even gone to the bronx where botanicas are everywhere but the truth is no one can compete with them. They go above and beyond from the products you're looking for to the legitamacy of their products. Thank you candelaria for being the best in NY! Alex, Angel y su equipo son honestamente los mejores! Puedes encontrar todo lo que necesitas y más en botanica la candelaria. Yo e vivido en ny toda mi vida y e ido de botanica a botanica , condado a condado y tengo que decir con toda certeza que ellos son los mejores. Tienen todo desde palos, candelas de todo tipo, polvos , aceites, tu piénsalo y ellos lo tienen. Lo que más me gusta de ellos es que todos sus productos son 100% real y legítimo. Exportado y importado desde Cuba y otros lugares de donde son nuestras raíces. Hablando de raíces, si ellos tiene raíces, plantas, flores secas y frescas. Otra cosa que siempre me a gustado de ellos es que si no tienen algo harán todo lo posible para conseguir lo y si no pueden te guiarán a donde lo puedes o como lo puedes conseguir. Realmente es más que solo una botanica, es un lugar familiar y amigable donde siempre que vayas te recibirán con una sonrisa y hospitalidad. Ellos también te preparan las velas, tu lo escoges y ellos te lo personalizan a tus necesidades o requisitos. Es una experiencia única con ellos que es algo que no se ve mucho. E ido a las botanicas de todo los condados encluyendo el bronx y aun allí no se encuentra un equipo y mercancía como el de ellos. Ellos hacen todo lo posible y más para ayudarte en todo lo que sea. The prices here are awesome and you will have a hard time finding better!You can definitely get the most “bang for your buck”. My one and only issue is that I don’t feel comfortable bringing my purse in there. I can feel them staring (already used to it because most places in that area don’t like NON Hispanic/Latino people of color). So I always make sure I have an idea of what I am looking for before I go. I’m sure they are all nice people and it’s probably not intentional, so I don’t take it to heart and always act like I don’t notice. Still great prices...

The treatment that I received by the short spanish worker was so unprofessional towards me asking a question on a product being sold there. She spoke to me nasty, with an attitude and disgust that I even told her why was she speaking to me in that uncalled tone and she just rolled her eyes at me and gave me her back. I put back everything else I was going to purchase and walked out. So very disappointed. I am wondering if this botanica is no longer owned by Alex, but I won't be going back...
