NYC Gourmet Deli — Restaurant in New York

I had an extremely disturbing experience at this deli. I left the deli at the same time as the delivery man and we were both going to my apartment building. He was delivering an order, and I held the door for him. He reached out and poked my upper arm and said "Too big."

I have lipedema, a lymphatic disorder, so I am a relatively thin/athletic woman but I have unusual fat deposits on my upper arms. This guy felt empowered to touch my body without warning and without my consent and to point out that my arm looked fat.

I went back to the deli to talk to the manager and he completely didn't get it. He kept saying, "He was just kidding!" or "He didn't mean to be mean." But the thing is, my arm is unusually large-- this guy was pointing out something that was real, that I'm extremely self-conscious of. I also DON'T KNOW this delivery guy and had never seen him before in my life-- even if he was joking, why on earth would he think that he could make a "joke" like that with a complete stranger, including touching her body without warning? It's also interesting that the delivery guy barely speaks English, but he knows just enough to make denigrating comments about women's bodies.

I never went back here, and I discourage you from doing business...

Ordered from seamless for pick up. Sent my son and they tried to get extra money out of him because " online prices are wrong". This was in addition to not having a product ordered in stock. Expected my son to eat the cost of the missing product and pay extra to receive our food. This is wrong.how is this my problem as a customer and not their issue as a business. They should be disputing the prices listed with seamless. I have been a loyal Customer for years, but with the abundance of other delis in the area I will never buy anything from them ever again....
