O'Leary's Tavern — Restaurant in New York

I want to call this a hole in the wall bar because of its location but the amount of people that come here on the weekends prevents me from doing so. Nonetheless, I've had a fantastic weekend every weekend that i've been here. The atmosphere here is just very laid back and chill. It doesn't take a lot for me to have a good night so this place has all the essentials I look for: Great drinks at a decent price (pro tip: food is also incredible drunk food) Speedy service: you won't be standing around for a drink as often as at other places Fun music to jam out to (get ready for the occasional Drake sing alongs) Floors aren't sticky haha - some of the bars i've been to have sticky floors (probably from beer spills that weren't properly cleaned up), which is definitely not a pretty sight.

Every time I bring a new friend here they end up loving it just as much as I do, so if you also look for any of the things mentioned above in a bar, I'd say you're in luck and you're probably in the area if you're reading this too. No reason to say no or miss out on a...

Great spot to unwind especially with some good friends. I always get quick drinks and big laughs when I come here :). This is a comfortable place where you feel safe to have a little fun.

I’ve been coming for awhile but in recent months O’leary’s has been stepping up their game. When you are as familiar with the place as me, you notice the small little changes that go on behind the scenes. I’m not sure exactly what they’ve done — but it’s working! They’ve started serving good food, adding more drink options and the service by the bar has become top notch.

O’Leary’s understands the community in Troy and that’s why this spot always delivers a good experience. I’ve made a ton of friends here and I credit that to the vibrant atmosphere O’leary’s creates. My .02 is that you should stop in for a drink!...

I can’t say enough good things about O’Leary’s. For me, it checks all the boxes, and I’ve made some great memories here.

My friends and I always have a good time. My favorite drink is a whiskey sour and the bartenders at O’Leary’s make it just the way I like it. Not too watered down, but not overwhelmingly strong either. It’s also fair to mention that I NEVER feel ignored here. Even when it’s crowded the staff is quick to take my order at the bar, which can be difficult at a place like this.

The vibe here is what kept me coming back. The music is well chosen and whenever I’m here I never fail to meet some interesting people. Well priced drinks keep you feeling good the whole night.
