Oh Bagel Cafe — Restaurant in New York

I got here at 1015 and placed my order. I only got half of it and asked when the waffles I ordered would be ready I was told another 4 minutes and that I can sit and I'll be called. So I'm sitting and waiting with my son. I get up to check on my waffles and I see that a guy that had ordered way after me received my waffles! I was furious and told them that it was unacceptable. They barely apologized and said that the guy had grabbed it and that I would be next. I wait a little longer and get up again to tell them how I'm very upset bec my son hasn't eaten yet and that I would have liked to come back so they offered me something free on the house. I got a bagel with cream cheese. Ok and I kept waiting until they finally gave me the waffles after serving all the other ppl that were waiting and it was 1045. I'm so upset. I will never ever come back here. It's unfortunate bec it was a convinient place to come for breakfast with my son on Sunday mornings. I'll have to go to My Favorite bagel which is by the way a much better run place! They just don't have as big of a selection but I've always gotten good...

I work on the same block and there's not many places around here to buy breakfast. The service is nice, but it's ridiculous that every time I turn around and not tell them to put cream cheese like normal places do, they just spread it like butter. I've never seen another bagel store that would do this. SO, I have to stand over them and watch every step and make sure I actually have cream cheese on my "bagel with cream cheese". I ordered chocolate croissant one day and guess what, somewhere in the middle of half raw dough I found a spit of chocolate. When they asked me the next day if I want another chocolate croissant I said there's no chocolate in your "chocolate croissant", they just laughed at it. At some point they had a different baker and a nice girl at the register, those two made good food and the proper way. But I guess they didn't like it as they were providing clients with more product than then they anticipated. It's been 3 years since I come to this place every morning. Paying $10 for bagel and latte. I think they shouldn't bee so cheap for the price...

THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS EXCELLENT FOOD. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY ARE VICTIMS OF THEIR OWN SUCCESS. THE PLACE IS ALWAYS CROWDED. JUST THE SAME, I'LL KEEP VISITING THERE WHEN I HAVE THE TIME.

ON 09/03/18, I WALKED IN AT 6:40 A.M. (OPENING TIME IS 6:00 A.M.) THERE WERE 3 EMPLOYEES IN THE BACK, PLUS THE OWNER. I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN THE STORE. NO EMPLOYEES BEHIND THE SERVICE COUNTER. AFTER ABOUT 3 MINUTES, I ASKED IF ANYONE IS WORKING THE COUNTER. I WAS TOTALLY IGNORED. I INTENDED TO SPEND $20 ON WRAPS AND A DRINK. I WALKED OUT WITH NOTHING, AND WENT TO DUNKIN' DONUTS.

ON 09/14/18, AT 9:20 A.M., VISITED AGAIN. LINE WAS TOO LONG; NOT ENOUGH PERSONNEL WORKING, OR WORKING TOO SLOWLY. I'M DONE COMING HERE, FOR AT LEAST A COUPLE OF MONTHS.

ON 11/12/18, I VISITED AGAIN, AT 9:30 A.M. SERVICE THIS TIME WAS MUCH BETTER. CAN THEY MAINTAIN IT??? FOOD IS...
